You don't roll up the flaps for ventilation, you use the blue clips to clip to the lateral guidelines. They stay extended out even in heavy rain providing very good ventilation on both sides, and CAN be put back from the inside....
Yes, you are 100% correct on this. I still find that the closely knit mesh impedes ventilation a bit. When the back vent is fully open and the side vents are open or structured as you described above, then it really isn't that bad. I recently camped in a rain storm and the tent was completely dry inside. I was impressed! I appreciate your comment. Cheers
Thank you. Got the previous non blacked model with less features..A person more than 6ft at say 6ft 1 can lie in it on a double air mattress diagonally. But only then a 1 man tent. Putting it away is hard if only used once a year and you al most feel like you're gonna break it.
You explained the feeling that you get when folding it away perfectly. I still have a video of that process and will post it soon. Yes, one person that is a bit over 6 feet could sleep diagonally. Cheers
How this a year on? Still a good buy? Looking at getting one for myself and my daughter for random camping trips - we are both terrible sleepers so the blackout interior is a great selling point as you say!
We are definitely happy with this tent. The blackout feature was a main selling point for us and it works really well. A year on, I am not as concerned about the ventilation aspect. If you are over six feet tall however, I really think that you should consider something else. Cheers
@@DBExplorer1 that's great thanks! I'm almost bang on 6ft so planned on laying diagonal if needed, my daughter is only 6 so should fit alongside just fine.
@@Roedy_Coedymaybe consider 2 seconds Easy tent. 6foot4 can sleep normally, no problem. 145 width is the widest 2 person tent I know of. 2 doors. Packs in better form.
@@bcamping1 thanks! Does it still have the blackout feature? That's my main selling point because me and my daughter both wake up as soon as the sun hits us, I can't be dealing with waking up at 4am in the summer and going to bed at midnight... 🙈
Couldn’t find your video about folding the tent and I was just wondering if it’s quick to do so. Also you were talking about the ventilation in the cons and I was wondering how bad it can get. Just realized that video is 7months old idk if I’ll get a reply
Hi, it really is easy to fold and I succeeded on my second try. It also fits easily back into the bag which is a rare thing. I lost that video but plan on making another one after my next camping trip. If you keep all of the vents open, then you should be ok. The mesh on the sides is really fine so good to keep bugs out but not so great for ventilation. I am still using the tent. Make sure to check out some reviews on the product. Cheers
@@DBExplorer1 Thanks for the reply I was looking at reviews but most people who fold it seemed to speed up the process or cut some parts out so I wasn’t sure how long it would actually take. Anyway thanks for the quick reply
Hi James, a queen size blow up mattress would cover the entire floor. I suggest that you compare the dimensions of the tent with the mattress. It would fit a double for sure. Cheers

@@vladimirrodrigues9153 You will be able to fold it in a minute or two. It really is easy.
Looks great because im only 5'7 and my wife even shorter. Can we fit 2 sleepingpads inside that are 25" wide each and 72" long?
Hello, it is approximately 73 inches wide and 82 inches in length. You should be fine. The tent really fits just two people. Cheers
@@DBExplorer1 Thanks for the quick answer.
Hi! I was wondering if this tent comes with pegs?
Yes, it comes with the thin steel pegs. I use pegs from another tent that are a bit beefier. Cheers
What size ground sheet would you suggest for people that would like to use one?
Hello, the tent has a base of approximately 6 feet by 7 feet. I would go with at least an 8 x 8 or 10 x 10 ground sheet. Cheers
How to keep it warm becose air comes in bc of net behind
Hello, I have not had any issues with keeping warm inside. The tent seals up very nicely.
What are the dimensions of the tent when packed?
The tent packs in a disc format and is approximately 2.5 feet across and 3 inches thick. Cheers
One year later, thank you!
You are welcome!
Great video, thanks
Glad you liked it!
Will it fit a queen blow up mattress?

@@DBExplorer1 you're the best
