I could have watched this figures review on another channel but decided to wait for yours. There’s a touch of class and respect that you give these DB figures that no other channel delivers.
Couple duplicate audio spots, although the sign off being duplicated made me feel like you were saying goodbye twice lol. I'm actually really surprised they gave us that chest piece, instead of just having one that allows better movement with the arms. The figure looks the same with both chest pieces on.
I think a lot of ppl are complaining about the right things. But i am still just so happy hit is finally out. I think this guy hurts ppl the same way raditz hurt ppl. P bandi with werid QC issues Lack of paint in some places Strange articulation issues Again, these problems wouldnt be so bad if he wasnt p bandi Great review mate. I always look foward to urs the most!!!!
Hit is one of my favorite DB characters and I was worried that they would mess him up but despite some glaring issues (non sculpted upper thighs and under shoulders, terrible gritted teeth head, and the biceps seem too small to me) his surprisingly amazing articulation, loads of accessories and ability to hide most of those problems won me over in the end. Nice review.
I wouldnt count Hit out yet. After his self improvement in his fight against Dyspo he actually out-preformed SSB Kaioken X20 Goku (before the first UI omen transformation) against Jiren. He was definably one of the heavy hitters in the TOP.
Another solid review! Tamashii Nations did an overall great job with Hit. Like with many of the figures in this line, there's definitely some things they could've done better but I'm satisfied with the final product. Excited to receive mine later this month! Stay safe and best wishes as always ^_^
Been waiting for this review! Missed out on the preorder for this guy, but was able to snag an order from a third party after closing date. This figure looks to be a decent release, so here's hoping they come through 🤞
@@sidecharacter3193 honestly IMO the dbs manga is highly forgettable. So I don’t remember that. Only until recently with the new arcs that aren’t in the anime they’re more memorable. The retellings of the anime arcs just blend together and is like meh.
I do have the Dragon stars version and I gotta say it's pretty decent especially for those who can't afford this one, but I do give one point to the dragon stars version the skirt is attached better compared to the sh figuarts version.
Great review! Also looks like the QC on yours is alright; JP_TOYZ's copy had a loose left hand, which was unfortunate. What are your thoughts on the inconsistent QC for these releases as of late, though? Ever since manufacturing moved to Vietnam, these S.H.Figuarts Dragon Ball figures (starting with Jiren) haven't consistently been up to standard. I remember you had a minor issue with your Bardock figure as well; with the wrist pegs, if I'm not mistaken.
Cheers mate! Yeah that was unfortunate for John. I bought 2 Goku’s and one of the neck pegs kept coming out when I tried swapping out the heads. Easily fixed with a bit of super glue but it is annoying. I’ve been pretty lucky with most of my releases but I think after seeing and hearing from everyone else it’s really hit and miss. Could be the factory, but I guess it’s hard to say.
@@eightysixedreviews Haha yeah, collectors definitely don't expect to have to fix a figure right out of the box. It's pretty off-putting, given how much we pay for them. So far the only figure I have an "issue" with is my Jiren. Initially everything seemed alright, but after I swapped out his normal arms for his cross-arms then swapping it back, his left arm suddenly got all tight on me. I'll probably not do it again either after hearing all the horror stories of Jiren's arm peg(s) breaking when people swap them. It's not as big an issue as some others have faced for sure, but it is quite disappointing. I would like to give benefit of the doubt to the manufacturer, but... yeah. Like you said, it's hard to say. Seems as though the QC issues are somewhat comparable to a third-party company like Demoniacal Fit/ Possessed Horse, and that is not a good sign. More so when it's a Premium Bandai figure.
There's a lot about this figure that I question why it was done the way it was. For instance, they could've just cut a hole in the armor and given him hands to fit into the pockets as opposed to making entirely separate pieces, and they never needed to include two chest pieces. Seems more like they crammed them in there to seem like he has more to him than there actually is. The effect is also kind of meh. Looks like it was taken out of a Happy Meal if you ask me. And then there's the second stern face. In the promo shots, you can barely even tell the difference between the two faces and there really isn't any reason for it to come with the figure. I think they could've easily scrapped those accessories and given us a Time Skip effect, even if it was just a few blue and red cracks on some transparent plastic. It would've given you much more bang for your buck, like Vegetto.
Lol Tamashii is lazy. But they know they can get away with it every time because people will still buy these figures regardless if they’re decent or dogshit.
@@DipperGames420 Oh I definitely i agree with that. Premium Bandai is nothing more than a scam. It creates a false sense of low supply and high demand. Basically they’re doing this to gain popularity. Almost every major corporation does this to create a sense of “exclusivity.” But it’s pure bullshit.
@@chimichangatakeout3551 although, I kinda agree with the premise. You lost me at the 'they're trying to gain popularity' part lol 'Premium bandai' is not a new thing, it's existed since the early 2010s or so, most prominently started with their GUNPLA model kits
one of the arms from my hit figure makes a strange creaking noise when I try to move it around. Is there any way to fix it? I feel like I might break it if I'm not careful.
Amazing review man! Every single video I write the same thing 😅😅 but its true tho.. Another figure that I dont know if ill get it 🤔🤔 the legs look a bit too long.. And maybe it is anime accurate.. But dont know.. Not a huge fan
Honestly really not a fan of how they engineered the skirt when they could've just done what they did with Mercanary Tao. Otherwise, articulation is great, figure looks decent other than the gritted teeth face, and accessories other than the generic blast effect are really good. Compared to some of the other web exclusives I feel he's one of the best. Glad I pre ordered him.

I love hit although he kinda lost his coolness for me ever since jiren wrecked him in the anime and manga.
Yh, unfortunately, I can see hit becoming like a piccolo character. Badass, but not strong enough to hang with the real big power boys.
I think TOP Hit is equal to current ultimate Gohan

I love Hit's character. He's one of my favorite characters in Dragon Ball. So, I'm looking forward to getting my SH Figuarts of him.
Dope video, looking forward to this figure 🔥🔥 keep up the great content 🙌🏼🔥
I'm glad I'm not a fan of super, I save a lot of money on figures

4:20 Lol I think this is the first time we’ve ever seen Hit without his skirt... lol 😂 Don’t think we’ve seen him without it in the anime before.
It’s in the manga

Can’t wait to get my hands on this figure when it comes to the US!🔥
Did they paint teeth gritting on a closed mouth expression? This is the second review I've seen where it looks weird like that.
agree they should've outlined the mouth
i think the shf uses that shoulder pad articulation in the star wars line with storm/clone troopers
They should have made the side skirt pieces attach the same way Tao Pai Pai did, that way they wouldnt have popped out like that. Oh well...
I can’t unsee Hit’s milk mustache 😂 🤣 💀

Kinda hard to see the figure with the bright white background but still great review
Which super Saiyan blue Goku figure is that? I would love one that has the more accurate belt
I think that’s a custom you’re talking about. I made some belts for the SROE figure and painted the SSBlue 2.0 goku figure to match.
great great great review!!!!

I think im gonna buy two hits, so I will glue one de normal skirt to pose him.

That’s one solution!
Bruh my hit came with a left elbow that won’t bend 😭
No wonder my man rocks a skirt, he's got the stanky leg.
Hopefully Tamashii makes DB hentai figures because these are getting kinda stale.
This figure makes the dragon stars hit look mediocre
Primero
This figure failed in every sense of the word even the plastic looks cheap
It looks a lot better in person
I was worried it’d be too shiny like piccolo but in hand it not that bad
