For week 16, I practice head stands without the support of a wall, attempted 360s, and FINALLY SMOOTHLY SLID ON A RAIL! IT FELT MAGICAL!!!✨✨✨
Love the bed sheets 😊
Haha thanks:P
your videos are so cute, i just ordered a pair of skates because you inspired me!
Yyeesss!!!! Can’t wait to see your progress:) hope your skates bring you as much joy as mine have brought me and wish you all the luck🤗💖
Yesssss
Just watched your video on Moxi Skates and subscribed to your YT channel! Thank you for sharing your skating progress! 🥰
Thank you so much💖✨💖✨
That intro was so needed right now, thank you for speaking out. 💕✊🏾
🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Your voice is so calming and I’ve missed your roller skating videos so much! I just ordered a pair of my own but unfortunately they won’t be here until August or September:( I’m super excited though and your videos are holding me over until then 💗😊
That’s so exciting🤗 I can’t wAit for you to get your skates! And for now you can focus on balance and doing things you would want to do like stalling and 180’s while you wait! I used to do them all the time on grassy areas💖
What do you use to film/ edit your videos? They look amazing!
Honestly just my iPhone 11 and iMovie im not professional by any means :P
I love your positivity, I love the fact that you wear protection (YES for good influence!) and I love that you leave in all the attempts and not only the 'perfect' ones. That way we can actually relate and see the progress and be exited together with you! ✿ ✿ ✿
Hi Evelyn, I found your channel from your Moxi video on rollerskating outdoors! Your transitions are so smooth and I was wondering if you could please cover how to do that in a follow-up video? :)
Ohhhhh that’s a good idea I’ll try and make another video with other stuff I didn’t cover or atleast more in depth thanks for the suggestion💖✨💖
Hi Evelyn!
Just some pointers that when given to me helped a lot! Twist your shoulders before you attempt the 360s, it helped propel your body around, like a wind up so to speak. And also, did you notice that when you started to 360 to the left, they were so much better? Because you lead with your right, it's easier to turn to the "open" side if that makes sense! Anyway, love your positive vibes and your journey💕
Thank you so much for the advice🤗💖
Oh my gosh!! My jaw just dropped when you subbed to me!! Thank you so much! 😯😃
We are all here to support each other and I love seeing other people’s progress💖
Yay! I am so proud of you for sliding, great job!!!
You can just use a candle as wax, it's way cheaper and just as good as "skate" wax
Thanks! I’ve been using little tea candles and your right it works pretty well:)
I love your skate videos! Seeing people learn to skate is really motivating for me so now i also make youtube videos about skating! So thank you for being you and skating your heart out!
I just purchased moxi lollys today after waiting/saving up over a year🥺🥺 I love your content and am glad to have come across your vids thru the moxi street skating tips video:-)
Hello Alissa! I’m so excited to here about your Lolly’s! I know you’ll love them💖
Do you need that white thing on your skates to ride rails?
Yes! They're called sliders or grind blocks.
Definitely! Trying to grind just on your plates can be very dangerous!
Ahhh I’ve watched all you skating videos since Day 1 and you’ve made so much progress!!! You really inspire me, but here in London there’s rarely any smooth ground ;( but I hope to be as good as you one day! 🥰
Wow thank you so much🤗 I know you’ll be amazing! Smooth ground is always nice but theres always a work around💖
You’re so good at skating! I can’t wait to be as good as you! Right now, I’m using indoor skates outside because my family can’t afford outdoor skates. But once I get outdoor skates, I’m gonna be starting the 360 challenge too! You’ve inspired me so much and I just wanted to say thank you!
The only real difference between indoor and outdoor skates are the wheels. And most skates don't come with the best wheels to begin with. Just buy outdoor wheels
Hi Ann! Thank you so much ☺️ Shannon is right though all you need is outdoor wheels and your good to go on an outdoor adventure! I hope you are enjoying skating💖
Random question: did your derby wrist guards loosen overtime? Mine feel slightly too tight but my hands are pretty small to I’m afraid of going a size up and also waiting another who knows how long for them to come in the mail.
Mine did give a little after I wore them in but not too much! Hope that helps!🤗
Anyone know what helmet she uses? It’s so cute and looks really padded 🥺♥️
It’s an S1 helmet:)
Yes! I’ve been waiting for skating videos!🤩
Wow! WENDY IS MY FAVE!!!!
Your p rail flexes a lot! I recommend putting another screw or two near the middle so it's not so bouncy and stuff.
Yes! Thank you! I really do need to but never seem to find the time to get around too it! Always trying to beat the sun😂
@@EvelynIvyy I feel you! You're doing awesome! I just think it will help the slides a lot since there wouldn't be that flex and bounce so much 😁
Enjoy watching and watching fun videos
Doing often while communicating~^^
93 like~🚛🚛🚛💚
Evelyn, you are a breath of fresh air! Your skate journey has inspired me to pick up skates myself, still working on 180's (: I loved seeing you on the Moxi customer service call the other day, it was such a pleasant surprise! Are you the newest Moxi employee?
I am one of a few new beautiful skaters working for moxi and it has been such an amazing journey, thank you💖✨💖
Welcome back 🥰
Thank you🤗
Depending on the fabric of your mask and humidity where you are, I wouldn't wear a mask while skating if you're not around people. When you sweat and the mask absorbs moisture it's even harder to breathe through the mask. ( I kept stopping the video to see if it was our neighbors dog barking, the barking was in the video ) lol Also be careful where you set you P-rail up, I was worried you'd fall and hit the curb where your camera was. Falling on asphalt and hitting a curb can cause serious injury due to your body hitting 2 different planes of elevation. Be safe, have fun and great video as always! Great message content this episode!
Welcome back, love! I have a question. How tall are you? We have the exact same body type and I’m wondering how you overcome your fear of falling. I’m tiny. But I’m 5’11 so I have a long way to fall. And I’m scared it’ll hurt wicked bad because I have no cushion.
Hi Anna! I completely understand your struggle because it was too my #1 fear! I’m 5’9 but I spent a lot of time in the beginning learning how to fall properly by literally just falling on purpose and sliding on my knees and using my hands correctly! I hope to make a video on how to fall properly in the near future and hopefully it helps💖
Evelyn Ivyy thank you!!!
Is it extremely slippery? Mine is and idk how to fix it
The first layer is! As you wear it down you’ll need to wax it! Keep that wide stance and avoid jumping one foot at a time!💖
@@EvelynIvyy thank you so much!
Are you on the Moxi team?🌈❤️
Ordered my skates yesterday I hope someday we can follow eachother and watch the beautiful progress and yeah the struggle of foggy glasses
where did you order them? I can't find moxis or my size in general anywhere (sold ouuuuut agh)
@@KetaTughushi I ordered directly from the site. I probably caught them before they sold out. They said they would restock in august so I'd keep a eye out.
What mic do you use for your videos? :)
I just use my iPhone:) I do have a rhode mic that I use with my Sony but I rarely use it💖
