So if anyone sees this, me and my band did a whole albums of instrumental hippo campus songs for years and now they invited us to help them perform in Columbus on march 12th so yea I’ve been invested in this band since i was 13 and as a 20 year old man i can preform with them so it’s the best thing ever to me :))))))

Great band but why does he always sing everything delayed live. All the vocal rhythms are off. I'm all for changing it up when playing live but at some point you loose the track

it's so dragged out. I think it's just a recent thing with landmark. I saw em a few times in 2015 and he sang this a lot more like the recording.

Theyve actually aged since this show. Saw them here at lolla and then i saw them last night and wow they actually look older in a span of 6 months
had me socks blown off during this set. they sound great in theaters but i'm saying their festival feel is the best. hoping they'll do lollapalooza again sometime in the future

Hippo Campus is without a doubt one of my top 3 favorite bands, but I am not feeling the slowed down and delayed vocals at all. It's very..... bleh
Dylon Edmunds Same. They ended up being my most listened to band last year on spotify but the slow vocals were a huge turn off. The song is so upbeat so this just doesn't clash. Towards the end it got better tho.
Totally agree! They’re my favorite band but they do this in a bunch of there live performances recently and never used to. Maybe they will get back to it one day
Mitchell VanHerwynen i feel the same way but you also have to remember they made these songs all the way back in 2015. After playing them for 4 years they kinda get boring so the band likes to change things up so it’s still fun for them.

This is the kind of music they should be doing imo. When they actually did indie rock as in the beginning, bashful creatures ep is soo good still!! Hate that they turned so much more pop style last few years. Yippie ki yay was really good tho, made me a bit more hopeful for the future of hippo campua again. 🙂
