- HOORAY! THE ORANGE MAN IS LEAVING OFFICE! this is the way we celebrated when we found out here in Aotearoa New Zealand...a spontaneous version of "hit the road, jack", originally performed for a friend's CELEBRATION zoom call (that's my friend kya holding the camera).....with matt volunteering to play guitar, me sitting down for five minutes (literally) and scribbling out some lyrics, and everybody singin' along!
this event was held the day after my official show in dunedin...all the people you see are my patrons from the area around dunedin. i've really enjoyed throwing these smaller gatherings with patrons, where we get together, meet, eat, drink, sing...play....and we are so lucky to be here in this country with no masks and no social distancing. may everybody out there be healthy, and we are all sending out love and thanks for a BIDEN VICTORY!!!

I guess I'm back because I saw that new comment.... Actually have Sellaista Elämä On, on my right arm and then on my left arm I have a Heartagram. I wish Bloodpit got more traction over here though. I was going to try to learn Finnish but it's a very difficult language. Especially for somebody that has adult onset ADD. Oh, I saw H.I.M. in 2005 and Ville smiled at me...I'm not gay, but I was in that moment. 🤣

Yes. We've been liberated at long last. The popular vote actually got the electoral college's complicity. We have to put sooooooooo much effort in as liberals in this country to get our voices heard and respected due to the system in place. It takes quite a "mandate" by the ppl of the United States of America, as the Republican party likes to constantly claim they've received when they've won an election, that it's a literal massive turnout for our candidate. And generally is preceded by some huge fuckup-filled term(s) on the opposition's behalf. Think Bush Jr. or of Trump's criminality-laden four years in office (following his loss of the popular vote which felt like a stolen election... And, learning of his collusion w foreign powers in order to secure said win, kinda proved itself to be very well that). Neither one of the aforementioned candidates got the popular vote the first go-round. It really rubs me the wrong way. Historically. I was so anti-Bush as a middle schooler. I've been a die-hard liberal Democrat my whole politically sentient life. And couldn't be more enthused to see Biden's taking back the executive branch's highest office. Thank whomever you want (Buddha, Jesus, the American citizenry)... & I'll thank them right along w you lol these are good times.

I was born in New Zealand a bit over 41 years ago but haven't been back there from Australia since my Nana passed in '87.
The older I get, the keener I am to go home for a visit, maybe permanently.
