The companies that ridiculously overprice their products using nhs should be jailed not payed... 2,5 k for a peace of plastic do they even have freaking emotions inside of them...
My youngest daughter had a flat head because of prolonged stay in NICU (she was born premature). I did look at the helmet but was advised her head would correct. The doctors were right. No need for helmet and her head shape is fine. Don’t be fooled into paying these crazy sums. Most cases will self correct. Just shift babies position from time to time.
My son had this , and I mean suoer flat , was sent to a clinic and they wanted 2 and a half thousand pounds. A doctor told me it will correct on its own. Hes 18 now and his head shape is absolutely normal .
My son had tortícolis from week 5 after birth and could only sleep on one side because he couldn’t move his head due to the neck being stuck in one position. It took the NHS until week 13 to see my son in 2013 and by then his head was so flat and out of shape. We ended up going privately to fix his neck tortícolis to a chiropractor and in two sessions his neck was fully mobile. But we had to then go privately too to get a helmet for his head. the NHS advised to wait until the physio appointment to go to have his helmet done, physio was total waste of time hence why we went to chiropractor. But by then he couldn’t have the correction with the helmet that he would if we went as soon as he couldn’t sit up and hold his head up. I wish I went to the chiropractor earlier.
Our son has a flat head for a different reason than laying on his back, his is because he turned to one side due to movement restrictions. Physio saw him once then discharged him and said it would self correct - he’s a year old now. Still just as bad. His ear is 1” further back on one side of his head because of it … hoping for a referral 🤞🏻

2.5k for a 3d printed piece of plastic i can do in a few hours for about £50. the license for the scanning software must be millions
In the best traditions of capitalism, I can do that for 10% cheaper - the joy of the open market, eh?

Let's be honest Labour don't care about the babies, just look at their track record with certain gangs.
Or tories look at their track record with certain gangs
@@James_Doyle83 Indeed.
WTF is helmet therapy? Is that where they are forced to wear a helmet before they get the flat head?
Hold your babies all the time
Maybe they could contact Donald Fisher for some insight….
Lying too long on their backs its not rocket science
