  • The current national debate on whether and how to change our immigration laws presents us with an opportunity to not only fix a broken immigration system, but also to break a cycle of mistreatment of immigrants that is as old as this country. It's a chance for us to act on our shared values, model respect for others to our children, and be a better America.

13% is a historic high. For most of the 1900s, the USA was 5% immigrants (foreign-born). Put another way, the USA has been 95% native-born and only recently through massive immigration has become 87% native-born

Exactly. Hit these anti-White assholes with that when they say immigration is so great. These people just want to replace White people, and I wish they said that.

My story is long just like many immigrants, I am Mexican born and Texas raised. I was deported 9 years ago. The last time I saw my son he was 4 years old. He is now 13 years old. I also haven't seen my mother in 9 years. I was deported to a country that I didn't grow up in and never knew. This is my and my family's reality, it's an extremely sad and difficult situation for us. Specially for my now 13 year old son, nothing is for ever. Not governments, Presidents, Nations, believes or Ideas. Nations, kingdoms, dictators, and rules wil fall and new ones will raise.

You talk about Martin's family using language like "his parents was ripped from their family home". While leaving out the fact that his parents were either notified by mail that they were ordered removed or they absconded and was ordered deported in absentia. Either way they are not the victims.

It is amazing that legal immigration would have solved ALL PROBLEMS THAT Andrea Guerrero says exist and legal immigration is the answer. ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION IS ILLEGAL IS NOT LEGAL. ILLEGAL IS NOT LEGAL. LEGAL IS NEEDED BY LAW AND THE SAME AS FROM THE COUNTRY THEY CAME FROM.
