I liked the second one more ("Lost On You"). In addition to the words you mentioned, I like a lot the line "Hold me like you never lost your patience". The studio version of “Lost on You” makes it clear that this “conversation” takes place during a camping trip…the lyric “Let’s take a drink of heaven/ this can turn around”= “let’s look at the night sky and chill”; the whistling, then is to make sure her dog (Orson) doesn’t wander off to visit his wolf buddies. This live version though is leagues better than the over produced studio version.
You gotta do her live cover of Halo. I’m pretty sure her mum was quite a well known opera singer but I don’t think LP had any formal training but she’s got an incredible range and has written a number of hit songs for other artists.
