    For what its worth, Lidar scans can be reduced to a much smaller size by unifying and decimating them. Matterport claims to have 1% error, which we have found to be true. in 100', you'll likely see a foot of error! laser scans are a much more accurate solution, and can work in areas without light such as attics or crawl spaces. We sell both services, and both have their place :)

      Very true. Matterport should only be used where accuracy is not the driving factor. Where accuracy is a priority, I recommend hiring a professional with higher end LIDAR scanning equipment (not an iPhone, which has very poor quality LIDAR)

    Hello ! Good the problem is GEOREFERENCEMENT is lost ? How do you move (cale) the plane without touch the Point DATA CLOUD ? Thank you so much !

      Great question. The point clouds I use are generated using Matterport, and don’t have geo-reference data typically. What is the source of your point cloud that it has geo-referenced data?
