@@the1one18 I know this city have more cold days then hot out of the year and might have some cold nights in the summer it's why the summer my favorite season now I just hate the bugs that's the only good thing about the winter keeping them away 🤣
Born and raised... I laughed all the way through this. I have lived in many other places, And always move back. It's obvious this person has never been here
My wife and I have lived in Cincinnati for many years. We have found none of these things that you mention to be true in our experience. We bought a beautiful home in OP a delightful neighborhood for $100,000. It is nice to be able to live well without having to pay East Coast or West Coast prices.
The traffic, allergies, weather, abandoned houses, and drugs are definitely true. I’ve been in this city for close to 25 years now. I couldn’t tell you how many abandoned houses I pass on my way to work.
@@pitbull7885 I was raised here and lived on the east and west coasts and then came back to live here with my wife in 1990. In those 30 years I have experienced one DUI checkpoint.
WTF? I chose to move here last year over Chicago, Philly, and Atlanta--and I have not regretted it at all. It's actually an outstanding city. Also, no congestion when you live downtown...just sayin' Also also, what American city doesn't have traffic?
What American city doesn't have gangs, drugs, abandoned houses and crime? And I'm pretty sure if you wanted to live near the ocean or beaches, you wouldn't move to Cincy in the first place lol. My cousin moved there for college and never came back home. She loves it!
I left Cincinnati for Atlanta 😂 I don't hate on Cincinnati. When I lived there, it sucked but they have made a lot of improvements. They revamped OTR and the downtown area. It's probably one of the cleanest downtown areas I've seen. The cost of living is cheap but it's no Atlanta.
I live in Cincinnati and this makes it out to be so much worse than it is lol. I actually like living here and there’s lots to do. Also check the census, population is growing in the city and suburbs.
Moved here from nyc and am absolutely loving cincy. Only wished things didn’t close so early and public transportation were better. IMO, traffic has never been near as bad as nyc traffic.
Cincinnati has know Redbones, I went to your theme park and walk around and didnt see redbone couples know where, that means cincy is a very dangerous city for good minorities
Cincinnati native here, born and raised on the Westside, work out in Amelia and have traveled from easy to west coast. I literally have no idea what she is talking about on most of these points, I would hope most of it is statistically accurate but none of this is remotely close to how Cincinnati actually is for feels.
@@GEN620 usually the only people who hate Cincinnati are the people who have never been, people from Columbus, or the people that actually live here but its an ironic thing among the natives. There is a reason why the vast majority of people who love here end up staying. The only thing we really lack is any beech scene that isn't more than an hour away which for a Midwest city that's just to be expected. And the vast majority of us can be found flocking to Florida during holidays.
She realy did not lie about anything at all. I really did not know the privilege lived this good in sincinnati! O my God! Now I know why Jesus said if you love your life your going to he'll
I was born here. I'm 55. What part(s) of it have you lived in? I'm currently in an area I refer to as, a beautiful ghetto. Because in between the ugly, are some pretty things. It's a real mix-mash of it. I'm in North Avondale, on the main thoroughfare, Reading Rd. 7 years in this part of it. I would tell everyone to never live here on purpose. I've been shot at; have seen half a dozen ppl shot & killed, half a dozen injured by gunfire; too many fights & assaults to count; kids trying to steal my bike 3 different times at the Avondale library, while it was locked on the post; been assaulted by a 9 yr old...he kept running up behind me, jumping up, & throwing his fist down hard on my head; I've been propositioned too many times to count; I've been sexually & physically assaulted right in front of the downtown library in front of many; I've had a giant loose dog attack my small dog; I've seen guys trying to break into & damage cars; I've had to call the police too many times to count, over issues happening right outside my apt door; so many drug deals, I've become numb to it; any time of the day & night, out in the open, in front of many-all in just 7 years...& ironically, there's still nice decent people around me in this area that try like me to suffer through all the idiots. I spent my childhood in lower east, & upper west Price Hill, & it was fine...until the gangs started moving in & taking over the place, starting drugs & crimes, & other things, causing many to move. There ARE some nice areas, but most aren't the inner city parts.
Do you think your anecdotal evidence is stronger than government and university backed statistics? I live in Kansas City. I've never seen a murder in Kansas city. I still believe the statics about Kansas city having a high murder rate, though, because I know that my experience is just one on hundreds of thousands of people, and that the collection of our experiences is the reality of the whole community.
I live here. I’ve also lived in a number of other cities. It’s not bad here at all. There’s so many lies in this video it’s sad. It also has one of the most beautiful skylines in America.
I live here and agree this broads trying to scare people away...my parents followed my Grandparents from NYC after my Grandpa got offered a job a at The Time Star/Enquirer in 1970 and it's been a great home to us every city has places under development unless they didn't exist, I Love the Tri-State area anybody can find a spot to start a family in Cincy and be healthy and happy, me watching this was the biggest waste of time today
Cincinnati's abandoned houses are "used for things like the sale of bodies"???? Do you know something the police should know??? Also 2000 abandoned houses in a city of 2.5 million people is nothing. Many of those houses are historical landmarks and are currently maintained by the city for future developers in OTR.
Is there a different Cincinnati? There’s nothing to do here and people are mean af literally my bosses completely get off on hurting others I deliver automotive parts and people would rather die than let you just merge over. I’ve lived all over the east coast by far this is the worst place and I can’t WAIT TO LEAVE.
@@redbaron77 sorry to hear you feel like that. What part of Cincy do you live in and deliver parts to? How long have you been in Cincy? I do agree that some can be difficult on the roadways but isn't that most everywhere? People get behind the wheel & suddenly feel like a super villain. What towns on the east coast have loads to do with no road rage?
With all due respect you need a lesson in geography, Cincinnati IS a Midwestern city. Your implication that Cincinnati is an eastern city is simply not accurate. Most people would consider eastern cities to be New York, Philadelphia, Boston, etc. Cincinnati is not without its faults as your video attests, but Cincinnati is an affordable city with a stable economy and great culture. Oh and by the way, Mark Twain considered Cincinnati to be America's most beautiful inland city, I quite concur!
Mark twain died 100 years ago he hasn’t seen how much you people have destroyed your city with terrible infrastructure projects 😂😂😂 most complacent town in the US thats why nobody knows where cincinnati is
Moved here in 2017 - best decision I have ever made and I absolutely love it. We are the only city in Ohio to recently make a very popular "best cities" in the country list.
We were and have always been called the heartland for a reason. People are genuinely not educated enough to talk about American geography yet they do, Glad someone else understands
I live in Cincinnati currently and have been for the past 5 years and I love it! I met my husband here and settled down to have a family; I just love everything Cincinnati has to offer~ a lot of what you mentioned isn’t really a problem.
I live in Cincinnati my whole lot I'm from the Avondale area I'm a truck driver so I jump from city-to-city every single day Cincinnati is far from one of the worst places to live.. you make it seem like it's bad and it's really not compared to other cities
@@dancherry2343 Yeah Right. Lol! 😂 You act like Cincinnati is like Oakland or New Orleans when it comes to crime. 💯 Cincinnati does have its problems, but it isn't that bad compared to the two cities I just mentioned in my comment. 💯
I’ve been in Cincinnati for one week and was laughing while watching this video. Seems a little provocation, or trying to keep people away, or perhaps really was never here. I’m impressed by the scenery, things to do, little traffic for its size, friendly people, and endless nice places with food, brews, and drinks on both sides of the river. She’s right, people enjoy their drinks. 🍹 🍻
Not only is this info terribly innacurate, but most likely written by someone who has never been to "the queen city", its just plain difficult to listen to. The narrator screams of an agitated, unhappy person who has a fear of weather changes, drinking alcohol, being more that a few hours from an ocean, and not earning 6 figures. Lighten up, sweetheart, and maybe actualky VISIT our city someday.
But she did not lie about anything, Did she? The less privileged you have the smarter you have to play by the books. And to be honest Cincinnati do not have a brown community for safe immigrants if you like that type of environment. But if you are a minority with good decent credit you have a 40% chance of being okay. But on that topic if you are a brown skin African American of any type of other race, you must play by the books because you won't see other African Americans other than blacks in this city. For some reason they really don't like hiring brown skin African Americans too much, they would rather hire blacks. But don't take my word for it( just follow the rainbow )!
I have lived all over the world and we came back to Cincinnati to raise our kids. One thing to understand is that the City of Cincinnati is only a very small part of Greater Cincinnati. The statistics that are cited apply only to the city itself which comprises maybe 1/4 of the population in the region. Yes, the city has a few high crime areas... Over The Rhine, Lower Price Hill, South Fairmount, but the vast majority of the city is perfectly safe. There are areas like Hyde Park, Madeira, Mt. Adams and Mariemont that are beautiful, walkable small towns where families walk to get ice cream or sit out in sidewalk cafes. Homes are affordable and areas that had ornate but neglected homes that were built in the late 1800's are being turned into showpieces. A rehabbed Italianate row house from the 1890's that would cost over $1M in Brooklyn or the Back Bay in Boston should only cost you $250K in Cincinnati. The pictures used in the video are at least 15 years old. A more up to date photo looking up the river would show all of the new high rise and low rise condos that overlook the river on the Kentucky side. None of what is in this video is accurate.
Funny u say that because I use to leave the bad areas u named everyday to go buy drugs in "Hyde park, marimont" even "mason" yeah, from Westwood or covedale /west price hill everyday for about a decade, I'd pass all those "bad" neighborhoods u mentioned, even lives in them, to get drugs in your "nice" neighborhoods. But hey, I get what u mean, it's just the nice neighborhoods are where the big opiate dependant people who are big spenders reside🥳😥 the ones who fund the violence and all u talk about. Ask your neighbors, of course they prob won't be honest. But it's true. U know I know they know we all know.
This creator has def never been to Cinci. Just describing normal issues with every city and rarely citing statistics does not make a good argument. Air quality is fine outside of pollen season (welcome to the Midwest btw, that’s how it goes) chemical dumping doesn’t really happen, crime is not an outlier and is decreasing, population is increasing according to last census, commerce is up, new mls stadium for entertainment, Midwest affordability without super cold winters, rich history of abolitionism and underground railroads, German culture, old brownstones and Victorian buildings that the city has decided NOT to bulldoze because they are valuable unlike many cities who have razed them due to vacancies and disrepair. There’s a lot of charm there despite some areas of improvement (transit across the river and more walkability anyone?) just like tons of other cities there’s alot of progress and promise.
Lived here my whole life. Most of these things are true to an extent but they hold true in every city. It also depends on what part of Cincinnati you're in. Ohio weather is the only thing that's fairly accurate. Oh...we are mid-westerners!!
I concur I was born in Fort Thomas and Cincinnati is gorgeous and those houses that are dilapidated I want some they're beautiful anybody with any sense knows how beautiful are architecture is
I've lived in Cincinnati my entire 30 years of living, it's honestly not nearly as bad as they are making it out to be. Yes, we have our set of issues, what city doesn't? But it's truly not that bad
Not like that flat concrete slab with some buildings on top surrounded by corn fields they call Indianapolis. Good God Indianapolis is the ugliest thing I've ever seen in my life.
I’ve lived in Cincinnati for over 7 years. I moved North from Nashville and it was the best decision I made! I love it here! That’s what the 275 Loop is for! Avoid the 71/75 Split! DUH!
I've lived in Cincy for quite a few years, it's better than any other city in the mid-west or for that matter shitty California or Chicago, NY or Miami. Cincy is friendly. Lots to do, the congestion isn't that bad. I hope to move back one day. So many great memories, yes the winter wind chill can be awful but the spring and summers are great.
They are the mid west because at one point the country only went as far as Mississippi and The western states didn't exist. I learned this from a Local in the Nati 🤣🤞🏾
I think this person has Cincinnati confused with Chicago and Denver. I have lived her most of my life. The weather is the only thing they may have right. The rivers and lakes in Cincinnati are not polluted.
I’m 53 and been here almost the whole time; While I don’t live in Cincinnati , I can see it from the hill I live on in Kentucky. It’s a beautiful city with many fun things to do and interesting places to go. BTW Cincy is known as the Blue Chip City due to top companies such P&G,GE, and others located here, so the # 1 reason to not live here is certainly not accurate.
The worst city in the US? Really? Those things you mentioned also exist in all cities in the US. I have been living here for about two years and everything is fine. Cincy is nice, beautiful. It has many beautiful and unique places that you cannot find in other cities. I love this place. This city is growing and has moderate to high vibrant life..
This narrator sounds like she has blonde roots in her head. Drinks expensive coffee from Starbucks and has NEVER BEEN to Cincinnati, Ohio in her life. Smh 🤣 I don't even know where to start...I've said this once and I'll say it again. There is no gangs here in Cincinnati and especially no Tornadoes. We has tornadoes watches but no absolute tornadoes. We haven't had no consecutive snowfall since 2014 or 2015 in the winters. Like I also said before... one of the scariest things nowadays ANYBODY can get on the internet make a video and unfortunately people will believe it WITH NO SUPPORTING, SOLID FACTS!🤳🗣🤔😏
Born and raised in the Nati. She did her research without ever visiting Cincinnati. The only truth she had was the allergy syndrome. If you have bad allergies. Don’t move here.
I live in Cincinnati & travel all over the country for work. The Brent Spence Bridge 71/75 split is not that congested lol.. I drive it weekly to CVG & have sat in traffic once in 6 months at 7am. The 405 in LA or 401 in Atlanta are FAR WORSE. I will agree we have 4 seasons, which I’m grateful for. Especially Autumn! Crime rates are no different than any other large city along with drugs etc. As far as being dirty?- again, Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York, etc. Far worse! Clean air? Yes. The allergens are horrible. No ocean- this is 1,000% true. Unfortunately. Average income? I personally don’t fall anywhere near your quoted average, neither do most people I know, however, cost of living is extremely low in comparison to most larger cities as well. Overall, Cinci has its challenges, although positives outweigh negatives by far. We’re not as “clean” as Minneapolis, MN for example, but far from as dirty as you make it seem. Until you actually live in a place, do you honestly really know? How can you make an educated assessment based on biased opinions? Seems a little close minded. But what do I know?
I just happened upon this video. Hilariously misleading. You can travel to almost 2/3 of the continental USA in 7.5 hours from Cincinnati via car. (Making it a geographical strength). Other industries for higher pay, universities, insurance, Tide, et al. You got me on the air.
You have never been in Cincinnati have you ? All of this sounds like stereotypes and statistics . And that’s the reason we don’t have tourist due to misjudgment
Yeah, but I have family every where! Tell me why I don't see brown skin African American men walking around with their women In cincinnati? all the dark skin guys gat all the girls they can't make. So why would I want to move there if I can't find a decent brown skin African American woman that's not under the wings of the dark skin man? This country has all types of brown skin African American women and they are beautiful, but Cincinnati, you don't see much
@@dancherry2343 I’m not sure what your talking about because I’ve seen more interracial couples than any other out here . Maybe your just not in the right area or something .
Real Estate is a Hot Market. Fixer upper flips are selling like hot cakes. Panhandling and drugs are in every city, nothing new. You get all 4 seasons. Construction is a problem, but that's temporary as the population grows. Congested Hwy is not as bad as some other City's but it does happen often.
YESSS!! I’ve been on The Beast at Kings Island when I was younger… now that I’m older and we have a child of our own, my husband & I are considering moving out there from Arizona where we have lived all our life. It’s time for a nice change.. it’s too hot for me to handle here anymore! 🥵 haha! I miss Ohio!
If you consider Cincinnati to be one of the worst cities, you obviously don’t travel much. Sure it has its fair share of crime etc, what big city doesn’t? Why not talk about all the wonderful things Cincinnati has to offer? Skyline chili, the bengals, grater’s ice cream, larosa”s not to mention the Folks that live here, if you’re gonna tell a story, tell it right.
I don't know where you get you your information.i been in and around cincinnati for the better part of 40yrs,yes there is crime and things not to love.but, overall cincinnati is a great place to live..like anywhere else, you'll find whatever your looking for.....
Clearly, as evidence in the stock pictures, you didn't even go to Cincinnati to make this video. Take it from someone that lives in Cincinnati and has lived in more than a dozen other cities, Cincinnati has it together. It is an awesome place to live and visit.
Well 601, someone beat you to the punch a LONG time ago, his name was Al Schottelkotte, a local newsman who made an entire documentary series on our city and pointed out the bad and the good, I'd say the worst thing we've had all along (continues to this day) is BAD city planners, horrible crew that fumbles every step of the way since the city's inception. Blame it on the drinking maybe, but we do enjoy our festivals. As far as money making goes, I'm single and make six figures in a regular job that I was educated for at the University of Cincinnati. Yes, we're landlocked but as I mentioned before, city planners. Confused? No, we're not, this is the mid-west and in no part "almost" New England, maybe it's you that's confused to geographical challenges. Weather is weather, they have it everywhere. Crime....pffft, everyone here knows the areas to avoid unless you're looking for a bad time. Allergies, sorry, never had them. Abandoned houses...yeah, but we're NOT Detroit! Illegal substances? Hello, have you been to Compton? New York? Miami? Chicago? We're on the I-75 corridor, like every other city along that corridor and a useless government that has been waging a "drug war" since the early 70's and fail as bad as they did at the Vietnam War, yeah, drugs are here too. As far as congestion, again....city planners....they completely missed the ball on where to put I-75/I-71 split, should have been way NORTH of the city, when the West End was demolished and divided the city lost a bit of cohesiveness that can't be repaired. All in all, I find my city to be fairly calm, people from all walks of life seem to get along well, and without spoon-fed media tipping the scales one way or another we'll continue to survive just fine. This can all be summed up in a quote "If the world comes to an end, I want to be in Cincinnati. Everything comes there 10 years later"...Mark Twain
We're actually surrounded by The Ohio, Great Miami, Little Miami & The Licking rivers while the mill creek runs straight through Cincinnati itself. It's like being on an island. 🏝 And speaking of islands, there's bass island and chicken island here in Cincinnati too. 💯 Also It Has Very Strong Ties To The South Throughout Its History Even To This Day Starting With River Trade & The Underground Railroad. 💯
Many cities have these reasons and are worse. You just focus on the bad points. Cincinnati’s traffic isn’t always bad. Drugs are in so many cities. Cincinnati recently remade many abandoned houses, those are in some parts of the city. Allergies are very common, but aren’t trees good? Also, coal burning plants are common in many cities. Crime is also in many cities. Ever been to Brazil? Weather is a part of the whole area, don’t put it all just on Cincinnati. Actual tornadoes haven’t happened in a while. Drinking? So many people drink, and local breweries are fine and many people are good with controlling themselves. Your examples are not realistic. I don’t see what you complaining about New York or other cities, because planes are a thing. Also, many people in the Cincinnati area make great amounts of money. You can drive to Northern Kentucky and find more spots to find a job. See? Cincinnati is not that bad, and great compared to other cities. The community is great when it comes from soccer games or marathons in the area. Please actually visit it and see it firsthand before making this.
Tend to agree with the comments. Cincinnati actually was better than it's reputation. Sure, any large city has hard-core crime zones and substance abuse. But Cincinnati appeared to be bucking on the positive side of things all around. The only strike I saw here accurately was the traffic issues. I travel 46 States, and cringe when GPS puts me on Cincinnati highways. It's so wierd and awkward. Maybe just too much going on? Poor design for the volume? It's not like a DFW Texas, where it's extremely high volume, but it all makes sense, with a continual feeling of forward progress and improvement toward opening up. Cincinnati, not so much.
Wtf…most of these are just odd. No jobs but oil and gas or agriculture? U do realize P&G, Kroger, and 5/3rd are headquartered there don’t you? Lots of good jobs in a reasonable cost of living environment.
Lived here all my life. Was a wonderful town! Back in 1960 Rikes Downtown had the most awesome Christmas displays. Summer at Coney Island and assorted Kiddie Parks with fireworks nightly were too much fun. Lakes and streams to fish and jump from rubber tires into clean, blue waters. Cheese Coneys and Frischs girls serving us on roller skates AFTER a night at one of the many Cincinnati Drive In's. Couldnt beat it! We ALL thought alike and knew our brethren. THEN CAME DEI AND NOW.... WE ARE ALL DYING. SIN and a shame.
I heard you say the population is shrinking and stopped listening. Cincinnati is one of the only Ohio cities that grew last year. I love Cincinnati. Hopefully, people will do their own research and not listen to someone who obviously know NOTHING about the city they're talking about.
no city is perfect but Cincinnati's population is growing. Traffic is very light compared to most cities. Certain areas to avoid. Real estate has boomed here as well.
Exactly! I lived here my whole life almost 70 years. According to her my neighborhood is the ghetto, last time I checked the home values in my neighborhood were over $200,000 lol. Most of all the homes in my neighborhood are over 80 years old.
Population is growing due to reproduction. Too many people having too many kids. Population grows everywhere. I'm sure the homeless really appreciate that booming real estate most cannot even afford.
@@Dark_Harmony wow your statement is just negative. Population doesn’t grow everywhere. “917 unsheltered on the streets, 15% of total population spent at least part of the year on street, that’s a 10% decrease from 2020; 46% decrease from 2013. The national average of unsheltered homelessness is 35% vs. 15% locally.” Also I see you hate on cincy in your comments, maybe move somewhere else?
@@bossesg1 Oh GEE, now, why didn't I think of that? Right, because I can just up & move. I wouldn't be negative if it weren't for being illegally evicted, homeless, while having cancer at the same time, shot at, assaulted, robbed three times, forced to live in a haunted apartment in a ghetto in an area of the city I've never been in. along with all the other things I haven't mentioned.....I EARNED the right to say exactly what it is. When you live it, you can't even say anything to make me feel bad for how I feel. It's my personal experiences I never wanted or deserved. This city does have some good things about it. But, the more privileged you are, the easier it is to avoid all the harsh reality & truth you don't know anything about. Maybe someday, I'll find more of that side. Or, I'll get rich enough to afford something better than here.
WTF city is she talking about & where did she get this info from? Only thing she got right was the weather...if you don't like the weather, don't fret it'll change in a day or two
You've never been to Cincinnati and that's the only reason you trashed it! Don't talk about things you truly don't know about! I love my hometown of Cincinnati and I will always defend it!
@@601TRAVELS judging by the way you talk and your perception of our city and your frequent reference to money and the beach you have never been to a real city. You live in a fantasy where there is no crime and everyone has money. This is an all American city and you take the city’s minor downfalls to the grave. The suburbs and downtown are great places to live. Of course there is crime but you tell me one city that doesn’t. You blow this way out of proportion. Shame on you, do your research and actually visit before you spit your mind. There’s more beyond the numbers. Get your head out of your ass and maybe you’ll see someday!
If you can't say no to a beer, that's more of a personal issue.. again, in my life I've never visited not one brewery here.. not one.. I've been old enough to drink for 16yrs and never once been asked to have a beer with a boss or went to watch a game and looked up and was drunk.. if ppl have a problem with alcoholism, that's a personal thing, not a city crisis 🙄🙄
I work with people from Cincinnati. Traffic is terrible there. People are crazy. Super crazy to want to cross that bridge everyday to work in Hebron/Florence/Erlanger. Maybe desperate?
To everyone who is reading this, you’re beautiful and an amazing person. Please exercise frequently and eat more fruits/veggies. I wish you all good health, great success, and everlasting happiness!!!!!!
I don’t live in Cincinnati so I can’t dispute any of those facts but we did stop in Cincinnati last year as we were traveling through. We stayed at Winston Woods Campground in our truck camper. It’s a fantastic park with lots of stuff to do. They even had a band that night for some entertainment. The next day we drove downtown near the river and found a parking lot that would allow our truck. We found out there was a Reds game that day so we asked the attendant to put us in a spot that we could easily get out. We got out our electric scooters and rode down the waterfront path along the river. The wave wall was so cool! We felt safe the entire time we were there. Everyone we talked to was friendly. I usually don’t like to stop in cities as we travel but this was a great experience.
Lies! The city has plenty of jobs and plenty of opportunities and plenty of things to do. The suburbs are beautiful, Westchester Indian Hill, Marinemont not to mention the food and all the spectacular restaurants down here are very nice. This lady is delusional 🤣🤣🤣
This video spots most of the topics live there in the early 2000, Cincinnati people are in a different world than any other Ohio city I have lived and visited. And also unless you went to school there and oo college people very much to themselves. unless you have friends there and family once they move most will never hear from them it will change people's ways.
Completely agree with you about how people keep to themselves. If you don't have a large family that already grew up here, good luck you're going to be lonely.
Cincinnati is cheap and has everything you could want out of a city not to mention that sweet wholesome environment you dont get from any city on the east coast...
Constantly showing a picture of the "Skyline" and not showing pictures of what you're talking about proves a lack of intelligence, depth and sincerity. The ignorance is massive and appalling.
I don't consider Cincinnati as part of Ohio. With it being bordered by Kentucky and Indiana, to me its the state of Cincinnati. Because of the cultural identities of Mid West and Southern States. More Appalachian than anything.
As someone who lives in Cincinnati I DO NOT agree or approve of this video… our city might be small but you left out MANY amazing things that Cincinnati has to offer. Our weather may not be predictable but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Our city is home to some MAJOR businesses such as Kroger and Procter & Gamble whose headquarters are located just off the outskirts of Cincinnati. Our suburbs are a GREAT place to raise your kids and we have an amazing + loving community! Don’t let this video change your mind about Cincinnati because we may not be the biggest city in the world, but we are still a SPECTACULAR city with many amazing features :)
We don’t call ourself Midwesterns for no reason. Ohio is literally has been considered the start of the Midwest. Lol as well the queen city monicker comes from being the gateway to the west and connecting through the Ohio river.
The gateway to the west is St. Louis. Geographically, we are still in the east. We are in the eastern time zone. Indiana is the beginning of the midwest.
@@Dark_Harmony in modern day's yes but the "heartland" and "queen city" nicknames as well as the gate to the west were nicknames prior to what most consider St. Louis to be. Also Ohio is midwest has always been.
What an odd video lol. The reasons get weaker and weaker as you get closer to #1. #4 "Confused"? They call themselves Midwesterners because that's what they most closely identify as. It's not confusing. #3 "Drinking"? Come on man. #2 Land locked makes a city bad? #1 "no money" "Multiple people working is a necessity" this is actually completely false. It's one of the most affordable cities in the US to live currently. To address the legit reasons: 1. Traffic has been really bad recently only because of construction. Otherwise it's fine unless you live in Kentucky and commute to and from Ohio. 2. Drugs and users won't ever affect you. Nor will gang activity. Arm yourself if this concerns you and/or don't go out to bad areas. Simply don't live near a bad neighborhood - which are everywhere in every US city 3. Abandoned housing is everywhere and it's not noticeable here. 4. Higher crime vs national average - this is again common in almost every city right now.
OMG! I just perused her video list, and she has videos for over 70 U.S. cities, saying they all "SUCK." LMAO! Apparently, no city is good enough for her.

You tell ‘em! Our city is great!!

I don’t think you’ve ever been here, none of this is even remotely true.

@@Dark_Harmony I hope things get better for you.
Some of the reasons she’s saying can apply to pretty much any city
Half of these aren’t common problems that will make living in Cincinnati really hard. You can tell that she has spent way too much time in Cali.
all the people saying it's great to live here has never been to the low-income neighborhoods and it shows.
WTF city is she talking about & where did she get this info from? Only thing she got right was the weather...if you don't like the weather, don't fret it'll change in a day or two
Google. FBI. Locals. All those good sources.
You've never been to Cincinnati and that's the only reason you trashed it! Don't talk about things you truly don't know about! I love my hometown of Cincinnati and I will always defend it!
I live there, bro.
Aside from the weather and the traffic at the Brence Spence Bridge, everything said in this Video is not true.
So you’re saying there’s no crime? 🤷🏻♀️
I'm from Louisville Ky. You are wrong when you say Cincinnati is worst at anything especially heroine ODs
Fr Cincinnati is amazing
I work with people from Cincinnati. Traffic is terrible there. People are crazy. Super crazy to want to cross that bridge everyday to work in Hebron/Florence/Erlanger. Maybe desperate?
All three of the places you listed are in Kentucky and not Ohio. We can’t claim them and their pros or cons.
I had a friend who visited Cincinnati
He never came back
Can't even have friends in Cincinnati 💀
YOU KNOW WHAT, I'M NOT BOTHERING WATCHING THIS. I AM FROM CINCINNATI. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, GOOD. KEEP YOUR ASS OUTTA IT.
Shoutout To Cincinnati. 💯
Yikes. You should probably educate yourself especially on the whole Midwest thing. At one point Ohio was the western boarder of the US…
To everyone who is reading this, you’re beautiful and an amazing person. Please exercise frequently and eat more fruits/veggies. I wish you all good health, great success, and everlasting happiness!!!!!!
No money of course if only there were 5 Fortune 500 companies with hqs in Cincinnati and two more companies only 40 away from fortune 500
Sounds like a good time!
Where you from?
@@teenamoses6062 Western New York, not too far from Buffalo and Niagara Falls.
a campsite? WOW
This is wrong. Metro Cincinnati is the largest in Ohio.
Cincinnati is my favorite city in the US.
I left there primarily due to the rude and hostile people there. I don't miss it one bit.
Cincinnati is cheap and has everything you could want out of a city not to mention that sweet wholesome environment you dont get from any city on the east coast...
Is Cincinnati is also known as the Queen City?
Yes.
Constantly showing a picture of the "Skyline" and not showing pictures of what you're talking about proves a lack of intelligence, depth and sincerity. The ignorance is massive and appalling.
Your comment offends me.
Yea Cincinnati is pretty cool honestly. “Your boss might invite you for a drink”… makes the city bad lol
There are four seasons in greater Cincinnati: Freeze, Flood, Fire and Fall!
I don't consider Cincinnati as part of Ohio. With it being bordered by Kentucky and Indiana, to me its the state of Cincinnati. Because of the cultural identities of Mid West and Southern States. More Appalachian than anything.
I can get behind that!
Cincinnati's Culture Is A Mix Between Midwest, South, East Coast & Appalachian. 💯
What I’m from zone 15 not Cincinnati but that’s my city this lady is outta control😂😂
Shoutout To Lincoln Heights. 💯
Literally none of this is true.
The only thing that is not true is your comment.
@@601TRAVELS lmao whatever makes you feel better
@@The5thAceExactly - she's really reaching for her list 😂
@@dustin114 it would be different if it was something original. Literally everywhere has traffic congestion, drugs and empty houses 😂 🤣
Jobs in Cini pay the same or more then most of Cali cities so what you talking about
Gang activities and turf wars 😂 u never been here . And I was raised in da hood
I am glad you are safe. I have been there.
@@601TRAVELS u spreading false information
Cincinnati has Proctor and Gamble, Ford, GE.
This gave me a good laugh Lmao 😂
I ❤️ Cincinnati
❤️ 🤗
This person has never been to Cincinnati…This is just mindless drivel
Me: watching #'s 10-5 of this video like 😆
Get to #4: Confused 🤔
Narrator:
"Cincinnati is Practically part of New England"
Me: I'm out... 🙊🤭
So dramatic.
Lol Cincinnati doesn't have turf wars nor is it a gang city. She has never been Cincinnati
Yes I have and they have many gangs there. Do you ever leave your house?
@@601TRAVELS false lol yes I do. This is not a gang city. Stop it.
Turf wars, walking dead set lmao this is a joke

OMG! I just perused her video list, and she has videos for over 70 U.S. cities, saying they all "SUCK." LMAO!
Apparently, no city is good enough for her.
