You neglected to State about the newest piece of kit, the XBeam. It allows you to AirPlay any device so no physical connection needed to iPhones, Macs, Android etc
Greg, The glasses seem a little larger than most sunglasses, and they do make you look a lot like Jackie O, but at least you don’t look like you have a toaster on your face. I hope Apple follows suit.
This is great Greg. At least is affordable, easy to use, looks cool 😎, and hey, maybe practice for one day to purchase a VisionPro. I am not too crazy about these AR things, but this one opens a door for me to try such product. Thank you very much.
Strange, I have the nreal air glasses, and they are identical to these, even the carrying case is the same. Did nreal change their name to xreal? I’m confused..🤨
Apologies, but this doesn't seem to be AR. In true AR, the headset would be aware of the environment around you and overlaying information about that environment. This just seems to be a simple Head Mounted Display.
@@havencat9337 Sure, it'll be expensive, but if it's really good and shows lots of promise and apple makes it clear that there will be a future where the price eventually comes down to something more like $1k - it will be opening the door to developers who can move forward with confidence that they can invest in developing for the platform. I have been testing air pro version for 2 days. So far I have tested it on my windows and linux machines and also on my galaxy s22+. I played a non-stop 3-4 hour video game and it was ok for long periods of use. But the texts are not that clear to work on coding etc. for me. My main problem is the reflector glass part is too small and I can't see the whole screen. The sides and the edges are blurry. The best I can do is to use the small nose pad, but it makes the glass more uncomfortable and also my eyelashes touch the lens. But I think, it is too early to decide for me, I will try to work with it next week. As nebula windows version not there yet, and nebula android has some bugs, like gyro of the phone not working which makes the app unusable. Maybe using multi virtual monitor setup like on mac would be better, since most of the time I would be focusing on the center of the screen. I can't use Xbeam for work because of security reasons therefore I will not buy it.
@@tanerorkun5795 thanks for sharing your experience with texts. Yeah, so it will not be for now that I will retire my monitors. They are losing a very big market not taking developers into account. If you don't need to look to a physical monitor, this changes everything in how we work. We can do it in the bed, we can do it in beach chairs without any disconfort because the monitor will be where we look, so no weird back and neck positions anymore. Anyways... thanks.

Hey Greg, thanks so much for this excellent video. To me this headset makes so much more sense then what Apple just released.
