Love the channel and my new p38. Glad to have found your videos! I must get a wood center console like yours!

I cut open the body of my old dead console strut with a cutoff disc in a dremel, and placed a suspension spring from an R/C car inside, and then soldered up the body again, and refit the strut. It’s now been 2 years, and it works flawlessly, it would probably never break again, as there is no gas inside that will escape over time, and no one will ever be able to tell it’s been opened..

Obviously I am going to have to subscribe! My Rangie is doing this as well! Having just looked at the door handle saga and now this I didn't even know the lid flipped to hold drinks! Have to check it out now as mine has the wood top being an Autobiography.

Excellent video. I did this. Mine had a little twist in the lid. It’s much better now. Have you ever looked at the glove box adjustments? For the life of me I can’t figure it out.

I did do the glovebox several years ago, I didn’t really video it but I might manage something from stills. What’s the issue exactly, not closing correctly?

Would love to see a walk around and drive of the P38. I had a new one way back in 2001 a last of series Vogue which I loved, kept it for 4 years and traded it for the new Sport!
Be really interesting to see a good walk around and tour of your P38, I love the colour too! It looks in lovely condition for its age. I assume it’s the proper 4.6 V8 ! And not the weesy uninspiring diesel .
I love your classic too and am looking for to seeing you restore it as well.
    Enjoy your channel!

Thanks! Yes 4.6 V8 indeed! I am planning to do a proper video of the P38 at some point.
