Very detailed but tends to be the switches that fail rather than the connections on the board. I have fixed a few of these and always found the switches need stripping or replacing

What do you mean switches need “stripping”?
What would be your first step in fixing switch panel? I had intermittent operation on two of my switches the other day.
      Thanks

Is there also a fuse for this if it completely stops working? Awesome video thanks

Ooh, not sure on the fuse. I didn't have to look for one. Thanks for the kind words though.

Is the repair still holding? I did a similar thing on mine about 18 months ago but 6 months later the dodgy switch starting failing again! The little metal contact circles seem to lose their spring!

That's a great video! Thank you so much for doing this. I have this exact problem on my old P38. With your help it's going to be easy.

Thanks! I was pretty nervous going into it, in case I broke something, but with a bit of patience and taking it slow, it went pretty well.

I thought stripping and reaping my HEVAC unit was a pain.

Hi have an issue with my p38 Parked in drive for a week now windows won’t work ?

    • @chivogarage9784

Sounds strange. I never had that issue. Could it be a battery drain issue? I know you have to reset the windows and sunroof to get the auto open/close to work, if the battery is changed.... To do that, you just have to fully open and close the windows a couple of times. Could that be it, or are they completely dead?
