    Thank you for this stitch pattern. It is quite attractive, and to me, more so than the regular garter stitch.

    I love this garter slip stitch, and I don't think I've seen it before. It's beautiful. I had planned to knit another dishtowel in the rose stitch, but now I'll be using this stitch instead. Since it's a type of garter stitch, the sides of the towel won't curl like they did with the rose stitch towel. Thanks, James.

    Wonderful and exactly what I was looking for! What if you did the fourth row with yarn in back, as well?

    • @jamescoxknits
      @jamescoxknits  8 месяцев назад +1

      Hello - If I understand your question, slipping the stitches in back for the 4th row means your slip stitch will only be one row tall, and you'll have a stand of yarn over the front of the slip stitch on the right side for the fourth row. Try it and if you like the look, you'll have a different stitch pattern. Cheers, James

    • @jamescoxknits
      @jamescoxknits  Год назад

      Hello there! You're right, if you just knit 2 rows and cast off the finish should look rather nice. So glad you like this pattern. I used it for a pullover sweater and it turned out great. Cheers, James
