Andi Bodeau, Bloomington Public Schools
Andi Bodeau is the elementary technology coordinator for Bloomington, Minn., Public Schools. She has worked in education for 20 years as a social studies teacher, media specialist and technology integration specialist. She is a Google Certified Trainer and teaches online technology integration classes through IT4Educators. Currently, Bodeau supports classroom teachers in integrating technology into the curriculum and classroom, and her goal is to empower teachers to use technology to accelerate student learning.
Ryan Semans, Tierney Bros., Inc.
Ryan Seamans is the director of Instructional Technology and Development for the K-12 and Higher Education Department within Tierney Brothers, Inc. He has been involved in K-12 and higher education for more than a decade as an elementary teacher and technology integration specialist. Seamans believes life-long learning is a 21st century skill that is essential for the adults and workforce of tomorrow.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. I've always thought that we need to integrate how students are learning on their own outside of class and bring it into the classroom. It's nice to see that steps are being taken in the right direction, wonderful! GO WORLD!

The title of this video is a misnomer. The title should read Challenges of Learning . . . I thought it was about Challenge-based learning.
