The axiom fission rhythm is a great option to try out. It's useful in the woods for touchy straight drives and can be a great Hyzer flip dead straight bomber reaching distance driver distances with less effort.
I also love the Crave. One of my fave backhand discs but don't really throw much forehand with it. Maybe I will start to after seeing this video. Great video keep it up!
I've got 3 Craves in my bag: fission, neutron, cosmic neutron (under stable to slightly over stable, in that order). Great discs! They're workhorses for me in the 270-330 range.
I highly recommend the Athena, I throw around ~400 and it just has the straightest flight, it holds any angle you put it on at full speed and barely fades at the end
The plastics for MVP/Axiom/Streamline from least to most stable is Electron, Plasma, Neutron, Eclipse, and Proton. Variants like the Cosmic Neutron Crave you have make it more OS than a normal Neutron Crave. Also, Cosmic makes it stiffer. Eclipse, their glow plastic, is usually more stable than Neutron, but the newest Crave I feel is a touch less stable than most Eclipses. Neutron is the base plastic. Electron is the budget plastic. Plasma and Proton are the premium. They are in the process of introducing more discs in more plastic variants as a company. Edit: I forgot about Fission. Fission has air pockets in the flight plate to make it less dense to distribute more weight to the rim. More weight at the rim = more spin, in theory. More spin = longer flight. Downside of Fission is that they tend to make them in lighter weights as well. They are less stable than Neutron.
I always found Plasma to be more stable than Proton and Neutron, especially in putter molds. I’ve had two plasma envies for nearly 8 years now and they still fly stable.
In my experience Proton has been consistantly less stable than neutron and plasma. But it can ofcourse be strange coincidence, different runs and whatnot. I have a max weight fission rhythm that is more stable than my cosmic neutron crave, but in every other disc I’ve found fission to be the flippier plastic. Even in max weights. Goes to show that it can be mold/run specific.
My prism plasma Envy is still beefstastic after a while. Really, anything above electron is going to be pretty close in stability. Electron is noticably glidier and flippier than the rest.
You’d love the deflector from MVP to replace the justice. I putt with Atoms from MVP, super straight and shallow. The Zeus from Discraft is my favorite driver, nice and straight but will be stable at the end of the flight. I also love the Buzzz ss!
love the crave have a proton that i love thats more stable. I would recommend a detour if you can get one similar to a buzz ss flight numbers but a little more understable. THe defy is a axiom 11 speed similar to that drive. Proxy may be a better throwing putter than the pixel depending on what you like .I also have been really liking a Athena a stable to over stable 10 speed.
I used to bag two craves: one in fission and another in cosmic neutron, the former being little less stable and the latter being stable. In the gyro lineup, I’d also strongly recommend checking out the Wave (11/5/-2/2), Volt(8/5/-0.5/2) and Runway(5/4/0/3.5)
You should get your hands on a Proxy in premium plastic. They are super straight with a baby fade when new and beat into laser beams. A lot of people describe them as understable which I don't really agree with. They lock into whatever line you put them on and when they break in, it's like the fade beats out of them instead of becoming flippy. Also if you like the narrow rim of the Crave, check out the Relay, Servo and Resistor (US to OS in that order, Crave between Relay and Servo.)
For throwing putter envy gets all the hype the the proxy is much more workable and can be stable when I need to be stable. Similar hand feel as envy same core just diffeeent over mold
Love the crave and have been a roach putter since I started. Soft roach for me. Prefer the neutron crave but there is some noticeable variability between different runs.
Question: What is your play on Hole 17(short) at Scrapyard? Seems like every time I try to get around the corner my disc ends up rolling down to the bottom of hill and it leaves me in a bad spot.
The Cycada especially in esp is understable more so than the crave would have put that on hyzer. Not tell you how to play at all just have a lot of discraft and mvp in my bag. your a lot better then me😂
The Wave, Volt, and Reactor. Great discs.

just found your channel recently and gotta say, definitely one of my favorites, keep up the good work!
Axium Pyro. Best OS mid in the game. Flies like a longer zone for me.

R2
Neutron is not base plastic… I think you mean to say that it’s like their main “staple” plastic that’s comparable to star, like proton is to champ

Cool video, Molt. I suggest throwing more MVP/Axiom. Those Discraft discs are doing you dirty ;)
the Wave dude..... the Wave
GOATED. Started using it this fall, lovely disc.

Try the mint bullet if you want an under stable compliment to the envy!

great course, got to play it when visiting from Maine
If you want a crave with a little more stability go with a servo super underrated imo

An older discraft mold i dont see getting enough love is the Drone. Overatable mid. I have one in the old flx plastic so it just hits and sticks.
Vulture & Pyro would be my suggestions
This course looks soo soo nice

please try an undertaker! super slept on and should be great for your hyzer flip
Discraft passion or the heat. Try the meteor. Nice mid disc.
Have you tried the avenger ss? Cus you like very under stable discs.
Try the wave, and the tesla, also try the z plastic cicada I think you'll like it
Question: What is your play on Hole 17(short) at Scrapyard? Seems like every time I try to get around the corner my disc ends up rolling down to the bottom of hill and it leaves me in a bad spot.
Have to try a Wrath and a DGA (discraft adjacent) Undertow
💪🙂🎉

Try out a Zeus and an athena
Can we send u some discs...maybe u might like. I throw alot of straight to understable discs from different manufacturers 👍
By the way they will be new...lol
Get a Thrasher
