I have another video coming out soon with just me out throwing, It took a while to learn some of the discs but man there are a few that will definitely go in the bag!
K1 Falk is like a Stag in better plastic. K1 Kaxe Z is the do-it-all Buzzz type disc, the Kaxe has a bit more overstability. Both are great. The Järn is my current favorite approach disc. Zone/A2 hybrid. You could try out a Stål for a Felon type disc BUT they're usually quite domey and I know that's a no-go for some people's FH grips.
I disagree. Its an ok disc, but from testing lots and lots of mids over the years, I find the kaxe very middle of the road. It doesnt go further for me than a buzzz or md3, and its not as overstable as a new roc3. I prefer the hand feel of the kaxe to beaded mids, but compared to buzzz or md3 it just comes up short. Highly subjective ofc, but since its going out of production I guess a lot of people agree with me.
@@Sanfordtime Ive tried the kaxe in k1 and k1 soft, Ive seen them in k3 too, but never thrown. I believe both the kaxe and the kaxe z are out of prod, not 100% sure though, but Im fairly sure Ive seen the dark green kaxe (last run edition) in shops around here. Edit: Ok did some research, apperently the old kaxe is indeed out of prod, but they have another kaxe out now which is a new mold but close to the same as before, I think mostly to transition to L64 manufacturing.
@@TheDrakmannen k3 is money for the kaxe beats up and turns a lot more under stable and after looking up the kaxe z is out of production not the kaxe. They just changed the numbers really
Reko X is by far my favorite stable approach, just so reliable, probably my favorite disc in my bag overall. Falk is the one Im learning for touchy forehands with. Just bought a Kaxe Z as well before they are instinct, needed to try one.
I personally throw the järn in my overstable approach slot. I have big hands so the zone is a little slim for me. Järn is just a tad deeper with a little bit more stability than the zone, and I’ve never looked back since switching. It’s the only disc I’ve thrown in with
Fav Kasta mold is definitely el Kaxe Z! For me, I like to use it as a long mid rather than a fairway. Flies very similar to the Kaxe from what I’ve heard, but RIP to this amazing mold. My only hope now is for them to bring it back into production lol
I love Kastaplast! Never thrown it but they dye so well and make good sales lol. Plastic feels amazing though. Definitely gonna get some for myself now!
@@DiscGolfwithMolt 55 years old just started last June. The Falk is the same numbers as a Jade (Lattitude 64 light weight 9 speed). As my arm speed gets quicker the Falk is a perfect move up for me.
Cant imagine not bagging a Berg. I used to bag a K1 soft and my first Berg, a K3, usually just bag that K3 now, love the feel and the flight of it now its beat in, and great grip in the wet. (Also very useful for tight short circular fh rollers when say cut of from a basket set into the tree/bush line). Other than that I throw my Lots a good bit and a Falk. I dont bag my Kaxe Z anymore but think you should give it a go (K1 Soft was my favourite). Järn is their Zone/Harp, bit more speed and stability though I hear.
Out of those, I like and bag the Lots, Stig, Svea and Berg. I like the Jarn better than the Nord, ended up trading in the Nord. You should also try the Kaxe. That is one of the best Kasta discs. Side note, the Lots and Kaxe are excellent thumber discs
I think your selection is great for starting out with Kastaplast. The VASS is Kasta’s version of a Tern or Thrasher. I’ve gotten really great S-line distance shots with both BH/FH. There’s SO many utility shots available with the Berg & BergX. The Falk flies more like a distance driver once you’ve locked it in. It’s my PR distance disc right now. I hope you throw more Kastaplast! 😂
The Rask were an oversight to not look at, its like the opposite of what you use for get out of jail, special with its 2 rims and the Z-version might be great for your grip, if you don't feel it you do not know ;) The Berg flies as it should, mine in K1 Glow a bit more stable than normal K1, so it's not in my bag. The Stig is what binds my mids and 9-speeds toghether. Instead if a Svea I have an Archer and Origin, I am very intrigued by the Göte but never gotten to test it. Lots is a great 9-speed, but I will keep my GStar Thunderbird in that slot at the moment with a Valkyrie one tick down in stability and a Star Thunderbird one step up. Not tested their distance drivers yet, already got so many high speed discs I should not own or throw ;P The Falk, Kaxe (normal, retooled and Z), Reko, RekoX, Järn, BergX, Stål and all of the dd's eludes me so far ;D //Swedish watcher lol-ing a tad by your pronunciation xD
Reko X - cant putt without it. Grym X - my go-to driver. Something really special about their K1 and K3 plastics. Wish their flight numbers were a little more accurate. What they lack in molds, I fill with L64.
Kasta was better before the plastics were nerfed by House of Discs and the Grym was discontinued. That said, my Berg is in the bag and the Grym now sits on a shelf. Now, tell Joseph to love the Berg or else! :)
@@sunesnigel I have a Mumin K1 soft in the bag and it is probably the last disc leaving it. The magic for me is that it's an anny forehand upshots, and if you just make sure it lands flat, it going nowhere. Not that often I drive with it, though, and for backhand, I actually prefer upshots with a disc with more glide, in my case s Watt and Fierce.
I only throw it a few times in this video. I end up throwing it a good bit in the other videos I recorded (they will be posted soon) and I'll be honest, I love it!
@@DiscGolfwithMolt I mostly have kasta in my bag right now, i bag all their molds except the Rask and Göte. The Järn and Berg complement each other really well on approach shots.
Comment Below your Favorite Kastaplast Molds!
Stig.
Guld is my go to distance driver, its awesome!
Reko
Super choises. My bag. Put. K3 Reko. Approach. Berg/Reko x. Mids:Kaxe, Stig, Fairway:Falk. Distance. Vass.
Was sad to not see the Stal in there
I have another video coming out soon with just me out throwing, It took a while to learn some of the discs but man there are a few that will definitely go in the bag!
The kaxe is money!! I love it in the k3 plastic, but I'm partial to throwing base plastic overall! Probably my favorite mold in the bag right now!
My favorite and most used disc.
I only bag the Jarn and I believe you would love it.
Gote is my favorite mid, to me, it’s what I wanted the Buzz to be. It goes perfectly straight and it has the perfect amount of glide!
K1 Falk is like a Stag in better plastic.
K1 Kaxe Z is the do-it-all Buzzz type disc, the Kaxe has a bit more overstability. Both are great.
The Järn is my current favorite approach disc. Zone/A2 hybrid.

Kaxe is criminally underrated
its sooooo overstable for me

building a Kastaplast bag without a Kaxe Z sadge

The falk is a great flippy 9 speed
Best 9 5 -1 2 I’ve thrown
It was flippy on fore hands for me but not on back hands, I really liked the disc, just needed to put in some more work with it
Loving this journey and you trying out all the "new" discs

K2 Kaxe is by far my favourite disc ever
The berg is amazing!!!!!!!
Enjoyed the video. I like the Reko for putting and the gyrm as a high speed driver.
The berg x, Järn in k1 Glow and kaxe retooled. can't play without them.
I love the Berg for exactly why Joseph said: It's like a loft wedge in ball golf.
Ball golf? Do you mean mini golf or golf? Yeah, it's called just golf.
@@dyvel It's actually called ball frolf
I threw the SVEA for 8-10 months or so before i picked up a Fuse. Svea’s had such a great flip and fly flight!
I bag three rekos and a svea. Love k1 soft plastic. For a while I also had a grym x

I’m all about the Kaxe and the Falk both K1 plastic
Ill have to check those out!

K1 plastic is so good. Lots never leaves my bag. And the jarn is a super stable approach.
Grym X is my favorite Kasta mold, definitely flippier than the numbers but comparable to a scorch or Grace

Thank you! Terribly sorry for some jumbled words and letters, tried to hard to get finished with the kids dinner just about to be served xD
Gotë is the goat
Guld is there best driver and the kaxe z is probably their best mold krut for forehand bombs and jarn is a great zone replacement
I own a berg but would love to try some other discs from kasta not sure what to pick up next maybe the reko
@discgolfwithmolt do you do the zoom-in on the shot while editing or is there someone working the cam?
Ive only bagged a berg but my best friend loves the berg, berg x, jarn, falk and kaxe/kaxe z

Try a Falk. Mine is glow K1 and is a sweet flippy 9 speed disc.
Stig, Falk and Lots are my favorite disc
Don’t even throw kasta outside of one mold and that’s the KAXE. It’s my favorite mid of all time right beside the pathfinder.
Dang, seems like a lot of people are saying that!

Kaxe k3 hands down is the best
What course was that? In what city?
Try the Järn! Only kastaplast mold I bag and it is similar to a justice
K1 Soft Berg is the one to rule them all.
Have you tried Berg X? I find them to be similar.

Berg for life! Recently got it and fell in love immediately . Become a Berger!
Falk was my go to hyzer flip to turn disc for a long time.
K1 Kaxe Z, I bag 2 of them lol a fresh one and a beat up one.
Idog! Idog! You need the Idog!
Really missed out on the Alva and the Falk.
Reko X is the best throwing putter in the game, and Jarn is the best approach disc for me
Jarn!!!
Best mold by far
Missing the Kaxe!
Jarn for OS approach K1 soft Berg, Stig is a cheat code disc

Love K1 plastic. I bag a Vass.
K1 soft SVEA is an absolute money woods disc.
It took me a bit to get used to, but in the videos ill be posting soon i threw some great shots. I REALLY like it!
You gotta try kaxe. I had Svea and didn't figure it out. Terrible forehand disc.
I can't forehand my svea either! Kaxe feels amazing on forehands though!
You need the Jarn. Its Zone but made in Sweden
Järn and Falk. Straight money discs
Lots! Love it.
Recently got a Järn as well… super cool approach. Alva is also sick.
Next.. Clash discs.
Love me some Svea!
Svea is amazing. Grym is awesome too. Less stable than it says it is.
It cracks me up how you always end up with more than 5 discs 😂
Really should have tried the Kaxe and Järn. No need to try the Grym and Grym X as they are retired molds.

Lots
Stål

That's my fav from Kasta
Kaxe Z and Stig in K1
Svea on top for Kasta🔥
Berg for flex upshots, ReKO K1 for putting, Lots for CD, LOT Joey Buckets for more stability, Nord, Alva is a dope 11 speed!!!
Broski you got to get a stig.
Falk
Where is the rask?
Is this the clash Royale molt????
Vass Falk Nord Reko X
BTW, the Svea only likes about 60-70% power
I rock a K3 Hard Berg and a BergX. Anywhere from 75-175 ft, they are so fun to run the basket with 🤘🏻
k1 soft järn and lots
get this man some DGA disc they are so underrated.
K1 jarn is the best
Berg
im more of a berg x guy
Kade z and Rask u missed big time
Kaxe z
Not Berg. Everything else is money.

Don’t see how. Hundreds of players bag it from the start of their journey in disc golf. They can’t all be wrong
I guess anyone can be a “tournament player” 😂
Prewatch predict - Gůld, BergX/Berg, Svea and Lots
oooh you did pretty good!
