2:27 they have video editors/interns that carry cameras around for them sometimes. You can see blurred images of them in some of their dance practice behind-the-scenes, and other variety behind-the-scenes
3:34 They also went all out during the NCT 2018 Halloween Party (there are 2 dance practices, 127's Regular, and Dream's We Go Up in the costumes). You can see the behind-the-scenes of those too. WayV had not debuted yet at that time (they debut in Jan 2019) so only Kun, Winwin, Lucas, and Ten were present during NCT 2018 promos. Kun debuted in 2016 Chinese version of NCT U's "Without You" (2nd title track with 7th Sense); Ten in 2016 with NCT U's 7th Sense; Winwin was still with 127 during this time; Lucas debuted in 2018 with NCT U's "Boss"
