Ceiling is coming along nicely! If yall are leaving your kitchen walls a light color I'd say stain your ceiling color of your shelves! Would go beautifully with your brick accents!
Thank you so much, Amanda for the advice! That was my original plan all along to match shelves but husband had us second guessing. We will eventually have a brick wall that will darken it up but will still have the white shiplap wall behind stove!

Thank you for laying out specifically what you do and do not pay attention to postpartum and for what length of time! After having my baby I know I didn't sweep or do toilets for quite some time, but don't know how long it was. It's good to know I wasn't the only one not getting to those chores! Thank you for the reminder to prioritize our very justly deserved time of rest and healing. Your kitchen is looking beautiful!! I love the natural looking beams, I bet the lighter color adds a lot of light to your work space. Lovely, and lovely family ❤️

Such a sweet family. I have never heard of Garlic Soup before, but it sounds amazing and delicious. I’ll have to try this soup when someone is not feeling well in the house or just because it sounds so yummy. Thank you for sharing your recipe and all of your other great information. That vacuum sounds amazing, as well. That’s a long battery life and it’s great that it has so much suction and different speeds.

But also love a woven wrap for the same reasons but they grow with baby whereas the stretch wraps seems to stretch too much by about 3-6 months (at least for me)
