So much good advice. I have often called myself lazy. I think I'm really overwhelmed. Thank you for saying that. Yes, too much screen time doesn't help. I think I use the excuse of being stressed for wasting so much time. Last week I began making a detailed to do list and I'm getting more things done. Thank you so much for these wonderful videos.

As a homeschooling, homesteading mother to nine, I think that having a large family never gets one out of “survival mode”. Taking care of our adrenals and hormones are so important or it effects our attitudes. Our temples should be taken care of. ❤️ Put your life vest on First Ladies, then you can help your families. Comparison is also a huge killer. Not everyone has time for sourdough everything. Stop comparing and do what you can. How many of us make time for prayer and meditation daily. I prefer this over sourdough everything and the comparison factor. Let’s be Mary’s in a Martha world. Unsubscribe to channels that promote too much “Martha-ness”!!! Lovely video Tabitha!
I hand wash all my dishes, make homemade bread by hand and cook from scratch. The weather has been so hot lately. It's just draining.

I really appreciate this video. I was getting really down on myself for not having gotten a lot done today but i resonated with each reason you gave and it made me step back and reevaluate the day and be a little more compassionate to my self proclaimed "laziness". We had a pet die today, i have six kids under the age of seven, four of them are sick, including the toddler and the baby, and we're in the process of moving and renovating our home.... it's ok to rest and let God do the renewing. Thank you for your encouragement ❤I've watched you on and off for a while, but have gleaned so much from your faith videos. Thank you!
U said something that could be holding a person back from getting things done is a broken marriage. I am struggling with that right now. We still live in the same house but I just don't care to do anything. I start thinking about what is going on between my husband and I and it feels like all the energy is sucked out of me and I just can't make myself clean. Just wanted to share

Ladies, remember that the enemy hates marriage and will attack relentlessly. But what the enemy means for evil, God turns around for good. Your hope is not in a restored marriage but in the One who brought you together and will restore you two in His perfect way and timing. Focus on Him, so He can mend your heart and bring all else into alignment. Our Lord is faithful. 🙏🏽
I had a time in my marriage that almost tore us apart. I felt numb and in pain. In the midst of my valley, God started to work on me. As I poured my pain to Him, I started to feel God pull on things I needed to work on. God had me focus on the areas of my life that I need to work on. As I started to lean on God, I noticed my husband change. We are still working on things. However do not feel ashamed to get counseling even if he doesn’t go. God will see your efforts. Trust in Him and he will provide a way. Pray for your husband. I do this with everyone that I start having negative thoughts about, start blessings them. This is a spiritual battle so it’s not easy but keep your chin up and fight! Ask God to reveal what you need to do. I love y’all sisters!

All three of the reasons you listed are applicable, but I think this one burdens me most of all. Even as I limit what comes in, marketing and all forms of news are _everywhere_ and it is exhausting. Over the past few years I have decluttered and simplified my home to the point where I am finally beginning to feel more a sense of ease in maintaining our space. Not only is there far less to manage (and to clean around), but it also elevates my sense of control over life's circumstances.
Simplifying my home has increased my free time, quieted my mind, and broadened my capacity to serve and spend time with others -- I highly recommend it! ❤️🙏🏻
Too much information is totally what affects me the most too.
@@ThisMamasFaith I'm not a wife/mother. (NOT by any choice or desire of my own.) But I enjoy channels like these. I have not looked up any stats, but I have become convinced that our phones are making us all crazy and sick. As you said, it's just too much information, nonstop. Our minds were not made to function that way. I cannot imagine what this is doing to children who, not only don't know anything else, but whose brains are still developing.

As a Christian woman of 66 years I see so many women work seven days a week. No one takes a true Sabbath. I believe that if you work to get your tasks done the day before the Sabbath, and rest and seek the Lord on the Sabbath He will redeem your time and strength. Just as a tithe of our increase causes the remainder to be blessed, keeping a Sabbath causes the remainder of our t8me to be increased and blessed.

because not everyone is Christian and not everyone follows sabbath
