I have used your channel for the past three days to keep me motivated to get my house under control. I am a teacher and go back to school tomorrow. We moved into this house nearly 3 years ago just before my school year started. While the house is not terrible, it has taken me this long to get things organized (as you well remember having been a teacher yourself). Your videos are realistic to me and the music you use is both energizing and relaxing, if that makes any sense! Hi Amy. I like how organized you are. You asked for suggestions on how to keep snacks fresh in your kids backpacks. Buy those little ice packs and put the snacks in a little water proof container with the ice pack. I just bought one from Walmart for my lunch bag and it works! Thanks for sharing your home with us. It is my husband and I and our "Son" Frank, he is a 3 year old Daschund. lol Do you have any videos of what you would consider weekly maintenance cleaning for your house? When I was growing up, we just cleaned things when it looked dirty. It seems silly that I am 53 years old but I don't know how to "weekly" clean.

I managed to get my to-do list done this weekend. Got my patio cleaned and set up, BBQ grill is working, and my garden box set up and herbs transferred from pots to the box. Laso got my living room and kitchen cleaned with time to spend with my kids. These videos are amazing for motivation.
My youngest like that dawn power spray lol he told me if I bought another he would wash dishes I don't know why it was so interesting but he washed those dishes lol
I pack fruit, vegetables, and berries for snacks, and/or a small yoghurt, small granola bars, dried fruits. And leftovers for lunch as our daughter loves dinner typed dishes, and dislikes/through up most breads, the textur is not good for her.
It might just be a cultural thing, but we close the toilet lids before flushing, so they don’t spray out the toilet water on the toothbrushes and the rest of the bathroom. So, if you could work on that, you won’t have cats drinking out of the toilet, or poisoning themselves. ❤
I’m English and half Indian and I definitely close the toilet lid. I’d never allow my cats to drink out of the toilet it’s disgusting 🤮. My cats have drinking bowls and they get changed several times a day and if I wake up at night I’ll check it out and change it. Two minute job they are so worth it.

It’s driving me nuts watching you fluff the throw pillows but not the couch cushions. You’ve passed by them several times now and they’re still flat on the back. I can’t watch anymore.

Latoya you’re not alone. The holidays are tough for some of us that have experienced loss. While it’s nice to see all the decorations and hear holiday music it’s hard to see the “perfect” families in their beautiful homes celebrating what we think is a normal holiday. Just remember everyone is going through something. The holidays see to amplify loneliness, financial burdens, struggles with mental health. It’s ok as like everything they pass. They are just days if we see them for what they are. Before social media comparison was limited and even then it was hard. Now it’s overwhelming and it’s really hard. You need to know, coming from a mom of four and grandma to three you are an amazing mom. You have a beautiful, cozy home with healthy food for your children. You’re doing more than most. You are fortunate to have family close to help you and live in a safe area. So many blessings. In the hard moments concentrate on those things. I’m reminding myself to do the same. Try to look forward to a new year and think how far you’ve come in the last six months. You’re rocking it! ❤

You can dehydrate some snacks so it last. Make your own fruit roll ups when you can and dehydrate your owns potatoes or other vegetables and season to taste.❤

Thank you for the cleaning motivation. It is really great and it helps me so much. In regards to the snacks you can Freeze your fruit in individual small containers days before like Strawberries, kiwi, banana, put a little drizzle of condense milk (very little) and some shredded coconut) Pop it in the lunch box the next day, by the time they eat then, is cold and refreshing and no hard . Pineapples are also delicious . You can do a bunch on a Sunday and you can use that instead of processed snacks. I use seaweed chips for the kids but I think that is something you have to get them used to. I also cook apples in a pan and add a bit of brown sugar and cinnamon (skin and all) and they love it. I also do pita crackers or French bread and little cheese and salami too. I add grapes (I cut them too ! I’m just scared to death of choking hazards due to bad experiences) like a little charcuterie (this one is easy for me cause I’m so into them myself I just add it) . Something they so much love is the sweet salad I make and they eat it all, I do organic lettuce mix, chopped strawberries, pomegranate seeds, mandarins, candied pecans, feta cheese and balsamic creamy vinaigrette. I use processed snacks but not too often. Hope that helps 😊

In the medicine cabinet you have room to lower the shelves by one hole and your storage container will fit. I had to rearrange my cabinets to fit everything and even had to move 2 shelves from one cabinet into my two spice cabinets. That also left the cabinet I removed the shelves from to put in the large canning and stock pots.

In the medicine cabinet you have room to lower the shelves by one hole and your storage container will fit. I had to rearrange my cabinets to fit everything and even had to move 2 shelves from one cabinet into my two spice cabinets. That also left the cabinet I removed the shelves from to put in the large canning and stock pots.
