This Easy Velvet Scarf Crochet Pattern is comprised of one large rectangle worked with half double crochet and joined together with a slip stitched seam. The finished scarf measures approximately 17 inches long by 8 inches wide when lying flat. This crochet pattern can be adjusted to be larger or smaller by increasing or decreasing the base chain stitches and/or the number of total rows.

Every skein is center pull. Just dig out the end from the center of the skein and you can find the other end and pull from the center….
I hear you! But I can usually never find the other end in the middle if it isn't obvious

How would I make this same scarf but not an infinity scarf, just regular?
Hi Sarah! To create a traditional scarf you could crochet as many rows as you'd like the length to be and just leave off the seam at the end. I hope that helps!
What is the finished size of the scarf before you join the ends?
The finished scarf measures approximately 17 inches long by 8 inches wide when lying flat. So before joining, most likely around 40ish.
How long does it take u to crochet one scarf like this
It depends on one's crochet skill level and speed preferences! :)
how come mine is slanted from the bottom?
I would recommend using a stitch marker in the first stitch of each row and keeping up with the stitch count. This should help prevent you from accidentally increasing or decreasing and to start each row in the same stitch. Hope that helps!
