I'm currently running FL 20.9 , so if I update the program to the latest version, will there be two FL applications? And should I log out from the fl studio about the section before installing the update?
Nice that you explained it but ridiculous that Image Line keeps this BS up! Why is there no "update" button like in literally every other Programm that exists... This alone makes me want to dump Fl studio... What use have life long updates when I have to do this BS every time they make an update?
I thought it would be a big process but I just installed it and it transferred my key and plug-ins over perfectly

so for the update i just install it to fl studio folder. i dont have to go searching thru folders to find the direct folder?

Everytime I have to choose folder destination I click next and then it just closes out and won’t go any farther.
What If updating from 20.8 to 21, will I have to create a new folder and the previous settings will come in 21?
