Hello Michael, I haven’t watched your channel in a while but I happened to get my first interface last week (Scarlett 2i2) and today I see this video in my subscriptions. Thanks for making videos that cover such a wide range of topics and no matter where someone might be in their skill level. Happy new year

@@igalinselberg5173 Sorry but I can’t help you there, I’m mainly in servers for bands which are more of a general space for their fanbase. 6:23 another way to do this is with double RIGHT click and hold the second right click, then hoover over patterns, automation clips or audio clips so you can mute and unmute. Great video!
Just a question for you guys: If i drop an audio clip into the piano roll and i press Alt+N the audio clip isnt shown but the audio is STILL there! How do i fix this? Please help it is ruining my track completely
You are the first person that made a video on this that actually utilized the loop record and blend mode while using the new record features and someone finally mentioned how easy it is to comp vocals or other sounds with those functions! Great Video!!
Idk I still think just having Edison on a fx track is simple and effective. One thing I really like about Edison is the recording mode “ on play “. Let’s say you are doing a vocal recording on a certain part of your track, you can loop the track and everytime it loops Edison will give you a marker on the recording so it’s easy to line up to the playlist. Plus you can audition as many times as you want with out stopping the track over and over. Awesome vid and love the channel ✌️😎

It's still a bit complicated and awkward compared to other DAWs but it is a jump forward. I don't do vocals or use external gear so it doesn't affect me much but I'm glad they are making strides. The haters will still find issues
This last updated has been pretty nice. Slowly but surely IL is adding some nice quality of life features. Love the pupper too Michael, happy new year and all that!
I've always used edison for recording because of the denoise feature. If only there's a quicker way to get cleaner vocals in the playlist without having to do it in post then i might finally utilize this feature.
Just started using FL studio 20 trial and making music and you have been the gold standard of learning for me I couldnt be mare grateful I found your channel. Keep it up GOAT 💪
HELP PLZZ. MY BEAT IS GETTING RECORDED TOO AND ITS NOT BLEEDING. Solution : turn off ENABLE LOOKBACK in buffer setting. Its under your audio interface settings. Welcome
Pretty pup, but sorry you can't have my channel name. I use Edison to record my vocals because I know where to put them when I'm done. But I'm recording somebody else now that is frustrated by me having to ask him if I put his verse where he wants it. He just wants it to be at the same place he delivered it to the beat. Is there a way to get Edison to put the recording (that is an overdub) in the exact spot it recorded? Every time I export it from Edison it just puts the recording in the beginning of the project on the first open track in the playlist.
For some reason, my vocal track is echoing. I wore headphones to record the vocals. When I hit stop to stop playing the song, I can still hear my vocal recording repeating for a few seconds. Does anyone know why this could be and how to fix it?
Hey bro! Do you know that the time i subscribed to your channel, i unfollowed other channels coz you teach us in a pro manner. I was worried after a long break you took not knowing you were bringing us a puppy😂
Turning monitor external input to off does not turn off my monitoring. Same with having it armed, I can hear it constantly regardless of what setting I use. Anyone able to help?
Hello, when I enable loop recording and arm a track from the mixer, a new track is created on the playlist every time the loop restarts. Is it possible to prevent the creation of a new track each time and instead overwrite the same track that I intend to use?
The loop while recording feature might have been the greatest thing I've ever seen. This may tremendously help increase my efficiency at cutting vocals. :)
