I know i’m just a random comment but totally been watching producer tutorials for a while now and for a starter channel I feel like you’ve already found something. Edits and knowledge already seem top tier. Keep pushing forward, your audience is definitely on the way. God’s got it!! Great video!!
Thank you so much for this!! It's so refreshing to see a woman talking about this and giving us tips, people don't realise how differently you have to process and work with male vs female vocals, this is so helpful! You have a lovely voice btw
this is the first video i've watched on this topic that really delves deep into it and it was so helpful !! i can't thank you enough for making this video
first, love to see a new face in the tutorial/music making space! second, great video. I've been doing my vocal harmonies by ear and I think I've been missing out on some interesting ways of adding even more depth. I'll try out what you explained here. Thanks!
THANK YOUUU! Really appreciate the feedback! That’s everything right now! I’ll be sure to go into more techniques soon:) Have some stuff planned👀 Have a wonderful day 🙌🏻
Ahhhhh i'm so happy like you broke everything down and made it so simple. I just went to grammy camp this past July for songwriting and came back and realized its really time for me to get better at production. Waisted so much time watching videos that overcomplicated everything. Ive learned more in these 5 minutes then I have in countless hours of watching videos by male producers lmao. This helped soooo much. and side note editing is rlly good and affective. I don't know how you only have 5 subscribers. Your doing a great job please keep it up 🙌.
LOVE THIS!! THANK YOU! My favorite pop star of all time is JANET JACKSON who popularized this technique of her most famous hits. Creates such a unique sound for the artist. LOVE THIS!
I just discovered this video yesterday and it's really cool to see a new channel growing! Definetly will stay here cause you've got great knowledge to share and it's always valuable. Besides that I really like the serious editing mixed with jokes cause that makes you really authentic and made me laugh few times! Also I just downloaded your vocal packs and they sound awesome :)
What makes they’re voice sound the way they do is a from a combination of doubles(like your already doing), harmonies(in like Ariana grande cause its usually a 2 part harmony), than doubling those harmonies and ad libs(which will be harmonized and doubled like everything else) Harmonically here all your doing is playing unions and perfect unions which isn’t doing much. T pain has a lot of video of him streaming on twitch I’d watch some you’d learn a lot
@@LaghimaMusic Hey! Thanks for the feedback. For this tutorial, I wanted to keep things simple, which is why I focused solely on ‘vocal doubling.’ I think harmonies can be a bit more advanced and bring in some complex music theory, which might be tricky for beginners. If you’re interested in hearing more about harmonies, 2-part harmonies, and ad-libs like Billie or Ariana use, you can check out my ‘Wildflower’ cover breakdown. I also utilized all the techniques you’re mentioning in the full cover on my channel if you’d like to hear them in action. Thanks for tuning in :) ruclips.net/video/57JVhp6mVGM/видео.htmlsi=jRoj61XnbtSSlrXH
Sing again:) Do another take “replicating” the lead as Best as you can and since no one is perfect the very minor differences between your new take and the lead take you stick with will add a lot of depth and dynamics already with just two layers :) be sure to adjust the volumes to your liking
@@Itsvocalsss omg hi. Let me say, i ABSOLUTELY love your work. im subscribing. I love your voice too. Too bad im a dude goin through "it" so my voice is azz rn😭🙏
As a guy with tenor range I can say that it’s more than appreciated that you’re making this tutorial. Not only from the standpoint of more women being involved in the world of music (more power to you, seriously) but also because I also look up to women with alto vocals such as Trish Keenan as inspiration and from what I can tell she also used this vocal technique so thanks for showing how a woman does this as an alternative point of view to what is already out there on RUclips. I also really like that you wore your emotions on your sleeve in this video. It’s more than normal to be nervous shooting your first tutorial video but you totally aced it! Can’t wait for more content.
don't understand why in these days people only want to "imitate" their stars (like Billy and Ariana). Why don't they can be creative and find their own voice? own composition? own unique sound? onyl remixing, only recreateting, only copying... so boring. sad times...

For the mono-double, do you re-record (sing) again or just just convert the lead stereo vocal to mono?

One octave up or down is the easy way.
