For those calmer, smoother, lower pressure battles. I can dig it. This is hands down one of your best covers. It's incredibly groovy and breathes brand new life into the original, which was already very good in its own right. I also *_love_* the ending! As for the future, I'd personally love to hear you wonderful people cover a piece from the soundtrack of Transformers: Devastation. I think that would yield some interesting results. Of course, this isn't a demand. As long as you supply the great jazz covers and keep the name "The Consouls," I'll be happy!

I heard your Ryu's theme and thought "What an amazing arrangement and performance." Your drummer wss sick and subtle. The sax weaving the jazz melodiesv while not betraying the theme itself. The pianist and guitarist, on point. I just wish the bass was a smidgen louder. But this FF 7 bit. The call and response between the sax and piano. The guitar's subdued counter point. The drums LOOKING minimalist but not sounding that way. And the glue that is the bass... Out-fucking-standing.
I litterally was eating breakfast and started humming the music in swing/jazz tempo, and realized "Wait that would sound amazing, I wonder if someone made it already" and this sounds exactly like what I had in mind so I am very satisfied
I just want to say usually when I listen to covers like these on other channels I tend to listen to covers from games I know or if I've heard the song before but with your channel I can't get enough of each piece even if I never heard of the song nor the game. That's something you don't find a lot on RUclips and all I gotta say is keep up the good work 👍🏼
