Could you do a video about the things you registered for that you don't really use? I'd be curious to know what items might not necessarily be worth asking for (although hopefully the people who got you those items won't watch the video haha)
Ah thank you!! We’ve been working on our registry for a few weeks now and it’s been honestly kind of stressful? I thought it would be fun but it’s been a little bit a source of conflict. This is helpful to know what to exactly put on our registry so thank you!
I can't believe it's already been 5 months since your wedding! I started watching your channel just after I moved into my relatives' house in a new state and was looking for apartment decor to live vicariously through you while I was living out of my suitcase. Since then, I finally moved into my own place again. I was super inspired by your style and ended up buying the same bookshelf from Target -- it is SO cute, sturdy, and I can't wait to style it. So every time I see it, I'm reminded of you. Haha. Just a update so you know how you've positively impacted my life.
I just bought a tool kit on Amazon too. It has been SO USEFUL since I just moved into a new apartment. (If anyone is curious, I got the Apollo toolbox -- it's super pink but it had the best price, reviews, and mix of tools -- plus the pink is for breast cancer anyway.)
So helpful! Going to be planning our registry items soon, although going to require a bit of thinking because we don’t have somewhere lined up to live yet when we get married
We just started planning our registry for our wedding and the sheets was such a good idea - we live in an RV/Tiny House and I’ve had my eye on certain bedding that will make it so much easier to make the bed for a while now but I can’t bring myself to dish out the $250 for them but maybe someone in our family can ...
Are they available on amazon? Their registry lets you allow people to pay a portion towards the total for the item so maybe a few people could split it!
I think something that is important to note that while it is super nice to receive these things from a registry, if you are not engaged/ will becoming engaged soon you could still buy these items yourself. I know your channel is about marriage and while that is fantastic it is still important (especially for women) to know they can get these items for themselves!
Sharp quality knives are so important. I went to school for baking and we had an instructor from the culinary program come over and teach us knife skills! He told us dull knives are more dangerous because you use more force to cut items with so when do have an accident it’s way worse than the sharp knife that you use hardly any force with. PS Jamie Oliver’s knife skills video is fantastic!
Debra Roth Literally the most untrue thing ever. Not all apartments have in unit washers and dryers. It’s actually very common to have to use a laundromat or units that are for the whole building. That’s how mine apartment is. We have 2 washers and 2 dryers on the first floor that the whole building has to use.
In my experience apartment-hunting in Portland and Seattle, only the expensive newer apartments have in-unit washers and dryers. Most have shared laundry somewhere in the building (and rarely, no laundry at all).
okashi10 Yes same here. We live in Grand Rapids Michigan and generally with apartments in this area you have to pay a lot more for rent if you have in unit washers and dryers. I’ll wait until we get a house for that! I’m fine with using my quarters lol

I’ve been married for a year and a half and I’m so glad we registered for a starter tool set! Just something to have handy.

Samantha Jayne Girl I’m in the same boat. I’m nervous about where we’re gonna store everything until we find our home!
Alexandra Ryan so difficult (especially even trying to plan furniture) but I’m sure everything will work out perfectly 💛
You should do a video of how you keep things organized and store things in your studio
I’m getting married in March!! This is so helpful for when we make our registry! Thank you ❤️
I would like to see what you didn’t end up using as much. Unless that could offend the gift giver of course
