The Cat guy may have won this battle, but he is now permanently labeled as that Jerk with the Cat no matter where he launches. He even tried to involve the crew of the 3rd boat. Props to the other captain for keeping his cool.
I hope other boaters hail him when they see him "Hey, I saw you making a d!ck of yourself on the Miami Boat Ramps Channel!"
I was thinking the same thing and I hope someone tells him about all the comments he received here on how he acted.
I'm pretty sure everyone, in every aspect of his life, thinks he's a douche.
In Canada the Cat guy would be called a douche-canoe. Also would get a punch in the nose from the less tolerant.
@@ionizer24 In the US you can never tell if the douche who is fully deserving of a bop on the hooter, is packing heat or not.
Catamaran boy has mentality of a 16 year old. He shows exactly what boating is NOT about
The bigger the toy, the smaller the boy.
at Black Point, Fred would have rejected a snack...
@@liberals_destroy_everythin2497 why floridiots have lifted trucks that are not 4x4 is the question. So many people on this channel have huge trucks with huge tires and can not get their boats out. Crazy
more like 2 years old and a spoiled baby!
What I think the Cat Man is expressing is a few things like "My junk is bigger than your junk" and "I am rich, the world revolves around ME!!" and finally, "There can only be one Alpha Dog around here and that dog is ME!!" Of course, everything in his mind is that everything in the world is about HIM. Always. Look at the boat he has. Expensive, flashy and FAST so everyone will LOOK AT ME!!
The Cat guy is a tool!
You can tell by the truck and the boat compensate much.
I really hope the cat guy watches this channel.

Much respect to the guy that used another ramp. Avoid confrontation with people that do pointless things.
Best way to treat ignorant people is right in their name. -“Ignore”.
The other side to that coin is that when you avoid confrontation with them it emboldens them to continue to be jacka$$es and act like everyone else in the world is an imposition. These inconsiderate people need others to plainly name their behavior to their face. Without our help they will continue to be, and breed, more inconsiderate narcissist. No need to get hostile. Just plainly and calmly call them out. Then move on if you feel you need to. Or just sit back and enjoy a beer while they either wait or move.
I have found arguing with stupid is pointless either punch em eat the charge or look at them laugh and walk away knowing your truly a better human then the idiot who can't use logic and reason!
why let them get away with it ? it encourages them to do it again
I thought boating was supposed to be fun
Guy in the blue shorts has my respect for remaining cool. Good job dude. It takes a much bigger man to walk away from something like this than to take a swing. Cat dude is what we call "Part of the problem not part of the solution".
The moment the guy in the cat chose to go speak to my wife we would have had a bigger problem.
Yep, same here. If I've learned one thing in 12 years of marriage: DO NOT argue with my wife.
My wife would have either knocked his teeth out or shot him. But that's my waifu.
Nothing about that man screams anything other than small man complex, trophy wife is cheating with the tennis pro. Oh and McDonald's got my order wrong.
I guess the first amendment doesn’t apply if you are speaking to a married woman?
@@TheRunningDad Bingo. 1A has nothing to do with speech between individuals.
I've had this happen when backing my boat down... But even when I was there first it's faster and easier to move the truck over a lane than the boat having to move docks. Dude is a twat waffle!
Judging by his boat and truck the ego is mighty with this one!
The fantasy egocentric world is bigger than his reality!
Exactly!! Ego.
Or the anatomy is small, you know what I mean.
Twat waffle...that is hilarious!...Good one.
Deffinately someone who was bullied at school and still is sad about it.
There is probably a reason why the Cat owner is by himself... nobody wants to play with him.
Don’t worry, he’s more than used to playing with himself. Or did I mean “by” himself?
Yep, he wonders why no one he invites to go on his boat, wants to go.
Exactly!
They would have to wear a brown paper bag over their heads until they get away from the ramp.
Hell yeah, why the fuck are you approaching the crew after the captain leaves? To apologize? Talk shit? Threaten? All of it can wait for the boss to get back. Hopefully the wife told him to fuck off.
I remember when I was young (quite a long time ago), after dinner my dad would say "let's take a drive" and my dad, my mon and I would on most days end up heading to the local boat ramp. We had a boat too but my dad just liked to go down and watch everyone load and unload, it was always entertaining. I learned so much about what to do and what not to do. When I grew up and got a boat of my own, my wife would drop me off at the dock and I would go get the truck and trailer while she circled out of the boat ramp, away from all of the other boats. As soon as she saw me backing down the ramp she would be idling into position to drive the boat on the trailer (she was a master at that). Basically I'd just stand at the front of the trailer and she would put the boat in perfect position every time so all I would have to do is hook the front strap. Then I would pull my boat up way away from anyone else, because I did like to spend quite a bit of time wiping it down and cleaning everything and I didn't want to be in anyone else's way. Always worked well, never had a problem, didn't want to ever get involved in any of the boat ramp drama.
thats the best way i do the same
I agree. Cat man was kind of a jerk, but you don't pull up and unload and then get your trailer at a busy boat ramp. Drop someone off and go out and hold till your trailer is coming down the ramp. It's common courtesy.
I had a 1930s classic wooden 30ft cabin cruiser kept on the Thames near London, on trips up and down river I'd often hang back at locks. One to save tying up on the waiting mooring and second to let the novices and hire boats get into the lock. This could be entertaining at times. Once I was cut off by a Tupperware boat just as I got to the lock gate, the skipper was told off by the lock keeper. I just gave It don't matter wave, one or two more locks and maty was waiting to get into the lock, when the keeper waved me in, much to his discuss. The think the jungle telegraph had worked, or being as my boat had spent 3 days at Dunkirk in 1940 saving soldiers off the beaches and taking them to ships off shore, may had played a part.
The guy in the cat is way out of line and obviously full of himself. I would take my sweet ever loving time and actually probably would have just stayed right where I was. It is known as common sense and being courteous. I give the guy credit for moving to avoid totally ruining the day on the water. So glad we don’t live in south Florida anymore.
I definitely would of stayed there till the moon came out
Definitely small dick energy out of the cat guy.
We moved away from south Florida, too, back in 2004 and these videos demonstrate why. While south Florida is beautiful, there are just too many people trying to live there. It is beyond overfull of people. I go back for work contracts every few months, and the first thirty minutes, I'm always like, "Why did we leave this?" and two hours later, I'm like, "Now, I remember."
Would have taken a shit and come back in an hour. 😂
If it was me the cat guy would have 4 flat tyres when he came back to the ramp, either just let the air out or remove the valve completely.
Your cam person should have shouted out use the courtesy ramp when he was on his way back in, looks like it would be fun trying to get a boat that big in that spot
It looks like that happened to the cat boy before. That's why he took pictures of the other truck. He is a egocentric mama's boy. No wonder he launching all by himself.
I had a situation where I was launching in northern Wisconsin. Single lane ramp with one boat in front of me. He launches while his partner stands on the dock and will not move the boat further down or to the other side while his partner parks trailer in the lot about 300 yds away. I ask, he says I can wait. Ok, I play his game, partner returns, they talk, boat owner gives me "the look" and off they go. Small isolated lake, just the two of us. I finish my day before them. Recover boat and exit. I have wondered why they had two flat trailer tires when I left.
Thats y cat guy took a picture of his license plate
Hes got money thinks he owns everything or can be bought.
Asymmetrical warfare is a real thing. Fight the battle you want to fight, not the one your enemy wants you to fight!
During busier hours at the docks, some ramps should be designated launch and the others retrieve. This could help.
I wish that you had stuck around long enough to see if the CatBoy took his boat to the courtesy dock while he moved his truck.
I guess he did because it's not in the video.

Man these guys should be all smiles, being on the water with a nice boat. Life’s good my dudes..
Boating seems so relaxing
The answer is…… if everyone else is following one procedure and you insist you are right because of a vague unworkable rule. You are the Karen.
Cat dude is a dbag and Karen. Preps boat halfway down ramp. Takes photos of plates like that will do something. I'm not certain I could have been the bigger person. I'd have let him try to launch or told him to scoop over to the other one.
Experience has probably taught him to take pictures of the truck belonging to the person he will later accuse of flattening his tires!
@@ddolson6319 Try proving that in court - unless there are cameras in the lot or he has a motion detector dash cam.

Looking at the body language, posture and strutting, the boat matches the man.
Miami Boat Ramps for the life of me I can't for the life of me figure out why the guy with the catamaran is being a dick to the guy who tied his boat up to the dock, I mean if the catamaran guy was more grown up and mature, he'd go and launch his boat at a different boat ramp that isn't occupied by someone.

Michigan solved this problem, half are designated retrieve and the other half are launch. Only really needed on real busy days
Same on Ohio
Great Idea. Thanks for the info didn't know that was an actual thing. Respects 🤙🤙
How does that solve the real problem? i.e. tying to the dock and taking FOREVER to get your boat out of the water.
Cat tool would be returning to find all the valve stems missing from his truck tires.
It just begs the question... why do some people just have to be jerks? Like you said, they're there to have fun, not start arguments. Catamaran boy seemed like he was just looking for someone to fight with. You gotta wonder what kind of substance abuse issues we're dealing with here? He just proved that he has some serious issues that he needs to deal with.

Guy at the dock has the right. Katamaran Karen could move over, and wondering why is prepping his vessel at the ramp?
An obnoxious n00b early in the morning.
lmao, Karenmaran.
Have to say I agree with you I too would spend about half an hour getting my boat across to the other ramp and in the process completely ignore the numpty with the cat. He has been unnecessarily ignorant in this one. Curtesy costs nothing.
It would have been a good time for a boat picnic.
"I'm not sure why this always happens here..."
Florida, man. That's why.
Right?!
Clue:
Lift kit on white pickup tells you all you need to know about the cat owner.
All hat. No cattle.
The fault is with the cat boat, he was not even prepped to launch! Backs to ramp then preps, ego bigger than his pecker!
That’s why he’s alone! No chicks and no friends.
I would guess that is a bad analogy, since his ego is bigger than the boat and truck combined... the latter is probably out-measured by a valve stem.
Cat boy couldn't use the other ramp because he has no friends. ( He needs down current dock because he's launching solo ).
Good catch...
😄
This makes me want to go out and spend thousands on a boat....just so that I can end up getting in a fight at the ramp.
🤣🤣🤣
you dont need to spend anything if you really want to fight at a boat launch.
Some day that cat owner will mess with the wrong person and you might even get it on video.
The guy in the Cat needs to remember that other people on the dock are watching this unfold. He still needs to park his truck. Anybody could be vindictive and damage his truck out of spite while he's on the water. Be nice to people.
Right it's like be nice to staff at places where you eat you don't know what they can do to your food
20 years ago, absolutely…nowadays, everyone always thinks they’re on camera (and they’re probably right).
Catamaran Ford's tires would be mysteriously flat when he came back.
Fore thought is not a strong point of the asshole.
I have lived and boated in S. Florida my whole life. With more and more people moving here and the ever increasing number of boaters, I think it is past due to have law enforcement actively direct traffic at the busier ramps. Officers also need to cite people who prep their boats at the ramp (as opposed to doing it out of the way). It has gotten so bad I rarely get to boat anymore because the weekend is the only time I'm off from work. Thinking of getting a different job, one where I work weekends and off weekdays, lol.
cops are needed to cite offenders and this bullying will stop
How sad that yo guys live somewhere that a boat launching facility needs LEOs on duty. Seriously, what does this say?
If the city needs to spend money for law enforcement at the ramps, they are likely just to close the ramps instead.
@@marvindebot3264 it says that every asshole around the country with money ends up in S Florida. That’s why so many of us S. Florida natives have moved up to N. Florida. Hopefully we get a few more years up here before it’s ruined.
This is why, since my retirement, I've done my fishing on the weekdays. Less entitled clowns on the water.
I had a good day on the water. How long do you want to wait before you get out in the water?
Pardon my ignorance, but what is a courtesy ramp and how does it differ from the other docks/ramps?
Dock it at the courtesy dock, then get your truck and trailer at an available ramp, and finally move your boat from the courtesy dock to the ramp where your truck and trailer is ready for it. This way you’re not blocking a ramp while you’re retrieving your truck and trailer
@@kaseyc5078 but you're blocking a ramp with your truck while you go get your boat...so a ramp is still being occupied. At the end of the day the Cat just had to wait his turn in line.
Hear me out... You come back from boating, pull up to the courtesy dock, get out, walk to get your truck, and drive it back to the ramp, back down, and load up.
To launch a boat, you get to the marina, prep your boat in the parking lot, THEN go to the ramp, back down, launch the boat, pull the boat to the courtesy dock (or better yet, have someone you're with do that while you go to the truck), now drive your truck up the ramp and to the parking area, then walk back to your boat. By the time you get back from parking your truck, another boat probably had time to launch.
If you hadn't moved your boat to the courtesy dock, people would have to wait for you to move your truck out of the way AND walk back AND THEN move your boat.
Make sense?
@@52Ford Good explanation. If Mr cat did that on his return, he might have a good point.
I'd say that if you tie to the dock in order to retrieve your truck and trailer, you have the right to be there. Especially if you dont have a crew member able to back the trailer down and you have to do it yourself. Catamaran boy just needed to pull forward and let the guy get his trailer in the water.
Cat guy would've got a head butt for that in Australia lmfao
would have go stabbed at Altona
Definitely
The bloke in the cat is a complete tosser. He should have waited for the boat arriving at the dock to retrieve his boat. I also can’t stand boaties who muck about at the ramp getting things organised for launch. You should do that before you back that boat down. Agree that here in Australia it probably would not have ended well for him.
Cat owner is a real tool. I’d out wait him for days because that’s the way I roll.
I love MBR's commentary and watching the chaos, but it is turning me against ever wanting to own a boat. It seems like a big hassle.
Boats are amazingly fun. The videos of these idiots are a small percentage of the boaters. However you can avoid them by choosing the right time to launch and haul out for a particular ramp. Do yourself a favor if you ever do get a boat practice things like backing, docking, launching and haul out when the ramp is not busy, think about what you need and what you (and the crew) need to do before getting to the ramp. When my cousin and I were fishing every weekend we had it down to a routine, each having certain tasks.
@@3Hose I own a boat but if I had to go through this I would be selling it

Had a guy in similar situation last week, I had boat at the dock and was next in line to get out of the water, he. Asked his truck and trailer down to my boat and told me to move as he backed down the wrong ramp. He help everyone up as he had to walk over to the next ramp to get his boat, which someone was rafted to due to congestion and confusion. I held fast and made him maneuver his boat around mine to get on his trailer.
All he said was “get out of my way”, no pleasantries of any kind. Best part was, he got his boat on the trailer, pulled it out and drove away, no stern ties, no lights (11pm) , and left his boat engine running. Caught up to him a few kilometres away and he was fuming as he just realized his engine was running. Smoke pouring out of the boat. If he was pleasant, someone would have told him his engine was running.
This is proof that sometimes violence is an answer!!!!!
I agree I would have sat there and smoked a couple of cigarettes and played with my phone before i moved over
They should have pulled the drain plugs off the cat as a thank you for the courtesy
Haha I love how as cat guy walks closer to the dock his arms seem to go out like he is built. What a goof. Considering he's by himself with a big boat one might assume he can't get a woman because he is overcompensating for a little D!€k.
B. I. N. G. O.
So interesting how different docks are. We boat on Lake Cumberland and it's done completely different. Usually the wives drop the husbands off on the dock to get the trailer, we back away from the dock, and when we see them back the trailer down we load the boat. It's very rare that you see people tie up because there is only one dock there. But its so fast. I would need a Valium to launch & load on these docks for sure.
In Galveston, Texas area I don't see people tie off either. We do it like you are saying.
This is how I've always seen it done as well.
This is why i carry a tire stem puller. Take a picture of the Cat guys plates. And after he parks and leaves on the boat, go over and let the air out of all the tires, and pull 2 stems out.
At 3:40 the jet skis on the immediate right of the catamaran have gone. Cat owner could have simply have re-aligned and launched at the dock right next door - problem would have been solved. Well done the other guy (in the right imo) for retrieving at the other dock. Cat guy is now a marked man! Maybe someone should show him this footage so he can see what a jerk he is.
Catboy can't back up on his left.
My lady and I refuse to let our day getting ruined by boat ramp chaos.. But I think the cat guy would've almost managed to ruin it.. We are pretty relaxed here in Australia but we have our obnoxious idiots as well...
The guy in the cat, what a joke , the other ramp was open, just move over. Just cooperate with one another and keep the peace.
Wasnt there the reverse issue of this a few weeks ago? Where someone went to the courtesy dock but couldnt get loaded because all of the docks were full of people launching and loading?
If I was the guy behind the cat I'd probably sit down with a cold one and ignore him 'till he moved.
The guy in the Cat is acting like a "Richard". Good on the guy in the center console for being a bigger man. What is the courtesy ramp?

My thoughts are we never get to see you use any of these boat launches 😂😂
Watching some of these videos makes me glad that I'm no longer a boater. I don't have the patience today that I used to have.

Based on my experience with people dynamics, I believe you were misguided in focusing on who's right/wrong in this situation; the answer to that issue was obvious. The REAL issue, in my opinion, was about "winning". The Cat guy seemed 100% intent on winning the argument, as doing so would feed his ego, as does his high-performance watercraft. This is evident by his interaction with the other boater couple, as well as his obvious disregard for the open launch point right next to his vehicle.
I fully agree with you and I have posted several responses saying the same thing. This guy is an egoist. He always has "to win."
@@michaelgarrity6090 Yep. I would also venture a guess said egoist makes it a point to pick on someone who is in the company of his wife/girlfriend, where the likelihood of a major confrontation is less.
