    As much as I miss Florida, I don't miss the idiocracy that boat ramps, and boating in general seem to have become.
    100 million years ago, I took the Coast Guard Auxiliary's boating safety course. It covered boat handling, maneuvering, docking ,mooring, wind, current, and other weather considerations and a lot of other stuff along with have enough life jackets and don't drink and drive.

  • @ShroomKeppie
    @ShroomKeppie 2 года назад +1

    The guy pulling on the rope just needed a longer line. You tie one end to the truck bumper and the other end around the palm tree across the street, and make the line as taut as possible. Then grab the rope halfway between the tree and the truck, and push perpendicular to the rope. The tree will act as a lever and give you a force multiplier back to the truck of at least 1.5 to 5, depending on how taut the line can be made.
    Just one of those weird tricks of physics.
