    so beautiful, I can see all the love put into this project. I wish there was an official HO model of 777 from the movie. if there was i would get back into the hobby again just have a piece of movie history but I guess CSX crazy 888 will do since that was it's real number lol

    its very fitting that you started with a Canadian Pacific train, the train in the movie was Canadian Pacific 9777 that was re-painted

      FfFinnster sure about that? It’s actually a GE AC4400CW. I drive them for a living.

      @@jigginwithryan5334 Yes, all AC4400CWs are made by GE, but Canadian Pacific owns quite a few of them, so it makes sense for him to say a Canadian Pacific AC4400CW

    Wonderful job on the 777! How about doing a video on building the steam locomotive from the 1980 movie TERROR TRAIN? The steam engine that was used for the movie was Canadian Pacific now Ohio Central 4-6-2 G5D class 1293 built at the Canadian Locomotive Company in 1948. In the film the train was painted Blue with Silver stripes or accents. Wouldn't that be a cool train to work on? Please leave a like and comment. Still love your 777.

    Painting is not hard. MASKING is the hard part, as this excellent video demonstrates. I usually confine myself to the easy ones, SP and Cotton Belt, with an occasional D&RGW tossed in.

    The first time I saw "Unstoppable" was in a film course in college. I really liked the suspense and excitement in the film, plus the cast was really good.

      My sentiment exactly. Plus, Tony Scott somehow succeed to give the train kind of "life", as a true villain, rarely seen in movies. I admire that.

    Ooohhh Nice! One thing I am about to dive into, when I get a bit more money /supplies... is refurbishing. At my local train shows people are always selling junk trains that are dusty, old and need a nice hand. I cant wait to get my hands on them and get to work. Great work.

    Good job.
    Painting scheme AWVR locomotive.
    AC4400CW 777.
    HO scale.
    Despaint and paint locomotive.
    Despaint CP Rail locomotive and paint Ferromex scheme.
    Paint red.
    Use masking tape for color green and white.
    My Ferromex locomotive HO scale.

      @@ScrepTure and that's what the side of the hood reads....the black V is actually the W with the white V covering 50% just like the real thing....check real pictures, he is 100% accurate....

    This was before Circus City Decals and Graphics offered the decals for 777. Very good job on the paint work. Only thing that always irks me when most people build a replica of the 777, is either use wrong engine, dash 9, or don't use the correct side frames on the trucks......777 had the steerable side frame trucks.....

      I've made decals for hundreds of locos to date. Beside, the Circust City decals are incorrect.

    Beautiful Work! It is incredible! But, you kind of forgot one detail... In this movie, 777 has a Black Arrow type of thing located on the hood. If you skip to Chapter 20, Which is the Derailleur scene, you will see a Black Arrow on the hood.

    the best job I have seen with 777. the decal set does not come with the black triangle for the hood. I notice no one ever paints it on the hood right in front of the windshields. Any way that is a lot of talent.

    I think you need to modify the rear headlight from two to one since that's the way CP did it and you'll need to fix the trucks to the correct type. other than that, great job!
