Wow, wow, wow!! 🤩 I can’t believe how beautifully the stone and pavers finished off the look!! Our patio is really big, as is the norm for our very long South African summers, but this is the cherry on top to creating an aesthetically pleasing environment!!

We rent, right now, since we moved to a new state and had no idea what area we want to end up in. I’ve decided to just make this rent house as close to our dream home as possible, while keeping it renter friendly! 🥰 Today, I had decided to work on the back patio, then saw your video! ☺️

The stones make such a difference in preventing mud splash on the bricks, too. If you get some weeds, you can still spray weed killer on the loose stone. Enjoy the 4th on your new oasis!🎆🧨

Hi Ashley! I love what you have done with your patio. And you are absolutely right. Even if we're not in our dream home we can still beautify our current home. I live in an apartment so I have a lot of challenges especially with storage space. My storage closet also houses my water heater. I do have a mini front door area and I have a rocking chair and a whiskey barrel planter filled with flowers out there. I'm making the most of what I have. I look forward to acquiring my dream home one day and I love the home I live in now. Thanks for sharing 😊💞❤

You guys did an amazing job! I always spend my free money or time just updating and loving our house. My friends always say “do something for yourself that makes you happy” but for me finding ways to bring our family together in our home is what makes me truly the happiest. It’s nice to see other families do the same! I can so envision you, Savi, and Chase just genuinely loving your home. Savannah will forever remember the hard work and dedication that you guys have done for her♥️

it looks amazing! so glad your guy sits on patio w/ you, mine will drag a lawn chair from garage and sit in it instead of sitting on the patio! he has a short attention span and he watches the traffic go by instead of sitting on quiet patio.

Love your idea to blend rocks with slabs for the area beside the house where the grass doesn't grow much. I have the same problem at my home due to the overhang of the roof. I was going to just put rocks down but now you have given me a better idea! Looks beautiful!

Please think about getting a splash block or catch basin to go under your gutter downspout, so your rock area does not flood.

Great video. I love how good it looks. We had a friend give us a Gazebo and we brought an out door furniture set for our wedding anniversary for half price and we just love using it. Love how the patio has turnt out. It looks amazing. Love the white stones, it has all come together. In the summer time (if we have gorgeous sun the UK) we tend to spend more time outside, so at the min we are in the process of making our back garden an extra room of the house. 😊👍

Looking great. Just a suggestion when you are spray painting instead of doing it on the lawn spraypaint inside a cardboard box. No mess and sprayover it all stays in the box. Quick cleanup. Do you have a garden edger? You can cut into the ground first before hammering in the plastic edge.

They sell things called brick clips that basically clip over the brick so you can hang things. I use them on my brick fireplace to hang decor. They are amazing.
That’s what we used to hang it.
The patio looks soooo nice! I think the fridge is the best part because Savvy was so happy to have it. I bet she would love a those hanging swing chairs!! I’m so happy for you guys. Just a side note - they sell outdoor covers for tvs. I got ours on Amazon and we leave our tv outside year round. We just make sure it's covered during the monsoon season in Arizona.
