i missed you by 1 day, i was there on 1/23. nobody there 100% open and tons of natural snow. it wasn't as soft as i was expecting but still an amazing day especially for a mid-atlantic skier, well worth the day trip from PA. looks like you got a couple of inches of freshies.
If you were on Lincoln side, the trails that day were bulletproof by Sugarbush standards, but the woods were fantastic. Heard Ellen side was great too. The Arctic wind had giveth and taketh away…
The day before, “Paradise” was a misnomer. Full of rocks and ice. Honestly even after the snow, it looks pretty marginal. Ellen was amazing, glad I enjoyed the powder there instead…
