How “awesome” to see two huge influencers of my motorcycle RUclips watching together for such a session. Thanks to both for setting this in motion. Cheers to you both, and be well during this crazy time.
Loved the outtakes so much! I think you see the real person in these times. Best video I’ve seen in a long time. Ps I also missed out on the neck tube scarfs so please let us all know when you might do another run.
Hey mr FlyerThoroughly enjoyed this real unpretentious down to earth video with a lovely lady, mind you is Dutch (Happy people) love my bikes with a passion not sure i would travel so far but lovely insight into this way of life! Have subscribed to you Noraly. al het beste!
What an inspirational young woman Noraly is. Wouldn't the world be so much nicer if youngsters looked up to her instead of so called celebrities. Great interview, Andy.
I didn’t realise that if you dropped a bike, you’re not allowed to have an opinion. I didn’t realise that anybody who isn’t strictly heterosexual, isn’t allowed to do RUclips. I didn’t realise that RUclipsrs aren’t allowed to form a community and support and promote each other. Thanks for your bigoted rant. Most entertaining.
I started watching Noraly a week after she started her channel and have been hooked ever since. An amazing lady and an example to all of us as bikers and human beings. Great interview.
One more thing. What I genuinely feel is more appealing for watching the Itchy Boot vlogs is how genuine and how much humility is shown. Especially the children that come to say hi etc. Can't fake that..
Andy, I think this is THE BEST interview I've ever seen of anyone, anywhere. Noraly was thoroughly engaged and enjoying the chat, her body language was explicit, leaning in and getting closer as it progressed, laughing enthusiastically, and with completely open banter, which brought out the best of you BOTH. Congrats and DO IT AGAIN!!
Noraly is WRONG when she says her first videos were bad!! Those were the videos that got me hooked on her channel. They were honest, beautiful, exciting videos! Yes, Season 2 videos are more "polished" -- but Season 1 videos are just as exciting!
zatoichi101 I was half way season 2 and was “itching” for more so watched all of season 1. They were not as polished but rapidly became professional. Then I had enough of season 2 to move on to.
I've just gone back to season 1 to watch with my wife and sure, there's a big difference in quality and also in content in terms of what Noraly chooses to show. However, her lovely honesty and cheerful look at the world was as engaging back then as it is now. That's what keeps us watching your travels, Noraly! Thank you.
Great interview Andy, Noraly has such an interesting story to tell. She brings out the best side of people in the country’s she visits. And engages her viewers on her travels, 2 of the best motorcycling channels in one place. Smashing it 👍
Noraly is every bit as interesting and humorous and inspiring just sitting on her couch at home and talking as she is when riding. And Andy is a wonderful interviewer. I thoroughly enjoyed this. Thank you!
Great interview thanks to you both. Noraly is doing for Royal Enfield what Charley and Ewan done for BMW. But I do prefer her travels and mode of transport.
Andy I loved your interview with Norlay you are such a pleasure to listen to. I have only just started watching Itchy Boots RUclips and absolutely love it, as an old lady now but still have my bike license but don't ride any more. I would never have been as game as Norlay although I did drive by myself from Melbourne Vic Australia to Darwin back in the early 60's so I guess I have a little bit of adventure in me and thats why I love what she is doing. Look forward to more interviews you do with her thanks. Ruth
Great interview Andy, Noraly is such a lovely lady. I do admire her enthusiasm and confidence (bravery) to do what she does. Noraly is definitely an inspiration, for motorcycle travellers and simple just for life in general. Good luck in the future Noraly.
Super cool delightful hour-and-a-half with amazing Noraly. So amusing to see her bubbly enthusiasm even gives you the giggles Andrew. I wish I had known about this joint chat, I would have wanted you to compliment her on her editing skill, choice of background music, and drone footage. Remarkable and professional. She truly deserves her viewer total! What an uplifting afternoon, thank you both.
Excellent interview thank you Andy! 👍 Noraly, your enthusiasm, self confidence and love of life brings so much joy into our lives. We look forward to seeing your documentaries in the future.
Catching up with the back catalogue - my two favourite bloggers in one video! - just fan-boy thanks! A really nice watch. I can’t believe I didn’t watch either (any) during lockdown, but then I was dragged out of retirement but the NHS so it was a busy time for me 🙈!
Thanks for this Andy and Noraly, two of the best. She just never stops being delightful, I hope she can resume her journey and we can all get back to something resembling normal soon.
What a pleasant change. I have watched almost everything Noraly has put out including lots of Q and A’s but the questions you asked were new and fresh. Great film and I will start having a look at what you like doing now Andy TMF. 👍😊

Thanks again for pulling off the interview, my two favourite people on utube having a laugh and enjoying being alive... cheers!!!

Rally funny to see people just getting their heads round Zoom, too - something we all now take completely for granted! Good o'l Covid, eh? Great stuff, sir; and good luck Norally!
@@TheMissendenFlyerListen, you've got over 1200 videos on your channel! There's only so many hours in a day!! I'm getting through them, I promise!! (Mostly because your content is superb but also partly trying to steal tips and tricks for how to make decent YT vids!!)

Many thanks to Missendenflyer for bringing us our favorite Lady of motorcycle adventure, Noraly! So good to see you both in great spirits and healthy! Sorry to say that I missed out on the "Itchy Boots Edition"scarf but I must have one as soon as they will be available! What an exceptionally beautiful person, personality and stunning scenery of documented areas visited. Enjoy every moment of each series. Well done. Keep on going !!!
Hello Andy, I remember the day you mentioned Itchy Boots and never looked back, what an inspirational young lady she is, so thank you thank you for the intro, a great hour or so watching you both, a pair of you tubers , sorry Noraly, at the top of their game, I would dearly love to meet Noraly and your good self one day, I nearly went to see Noraly when she did live stream at the bike shop but things did not work out, anyway well done to both of you, ride safe and see you on the next video. Thank you for a great interview. You did it well. I am more and mire convinced that you are a Traveler First Class. Touring. Observing. Reporting. A WATCHER!
Great interview, Andy! Just love Noraly's channel and admire her courage, tenacity and her bubbly personality. Hope to see her back on the road again soon...
Another great interview, I have to own up to not being aware of Noraly or itchy boots before, probably because my focus was on bike reviews, adventure riding etc, so thank you for opening my eyes, I am sure to investigate some of her vids. That said, if there are over 100 vids in series 1, that is a lot of commitment. I have been working and living in Holland, this time since February, so can confirm that the restrictions in travel are less, which was fortunate for me while I had my CRF over here, it may be flat but we take the smaller roads to enjoy the bends and the connection with the environment, town, village or even following the waterways.
Great chat. Thanks a lot. It was really a pleasure to listen to. In fact I was LOL when Noraly mentioned her handling of not really understood questions of inhabitants. Sometimes I felt this indeed when she answered.
Just discovered Noraly! She's inspirational and a great woman ... If I had a second chance in life I would go round the World like she's doing! Well I guess I have to be happy with my week long trips to neighboring Sicily or Italy - as family, work and money do not permit anything else ...
Such a level headed and also gracious person. Glad I found your channel Noraly. I always wanted to travel the world but it wasn’t in the cards for me. Thank you again for sharing your adventures. ♥️
Thanks to RUclips for making people famous from nothing to something, Thank you RUclips for giving ordinary people the power that has only been available to extraordinary people.
Like this Mr TMF. Great interview. What a lovely lady is Noraly. No airs and graces, just a normal lady doing her thing. Great to hear some of the background of her story. I really hope she goes on to greater things, she deserves it. 👍
This is the best interview with Noraly that I've found. The two of you have a great rapport, and she seemed very relaxed and open. Can you do another one with her when she's done with season 6? That would be awesome!
It's reassuring that Noraly mentioned that she carries an inreach. Half the time it seems like she barely has a litre of water on her when she ventures into remote areas.
Those were a couple of great questions and and an inteview well done! I watched this in 3 sessions because I was so hooked. Helps that Noraly is just so genuinely friendly and lovely. I've been watching her channel since Oman, and I do not agree that any of her old videos were bad, she's always been good at it!
Noraly is absolutely right about the Five Stans of the Silk Road. I have toured there and the people are very friendly to travellers as they seldom see some and they are very curious as to why, as Westeners, we choose to travel there and they greet you, want to shake your hand, have their picture taken with them ... I was even interviewed by their national tv news when I happened to be in one of their museums.
This is my first time viewing your channel, and thank you for having Noraly, she is my biggest joy to watch. She is absolutely inspiring and brings mush joy to those of us who can only dream of doing what she does on a regular basis.
Noraly has a great channel, always amazed me what she managed to make and upload while travelling. Was genuinely worried watching her trying to get home during lockdown. Thanks for the interview, catch the rest of the interview later on the big TV.
TMF, just WOW....smashing good show. Two of the best in the business. You really pulled it off this time. Went on for more than an hour and I didn’t want it to end. Cheers 👍🏼 😎 🇺🇸
TheMissendenFlyer , just locked down with a bad back TMF. On deck now. I was lucky enough to get a 3 week, 5100km tour on the GS with my wife just prior to Covid. Took in the highlands regions of NSW, Victoria, then a lap around Tasmania. Spectacular & much appreciated considering our current pandemic lifestyle. Australia is doing ok & we are now moving towards the easing of restrictions, which already includes a government approval to ride again. So I have been viewing your work in the background, just didn’t want to give you too many comments to have to answer. Hope you & the family stay well. Cheers
@@russelllocke7180 Sounds good - and yes thanks all's well here, but sadly a long way from any meaningful easing here yet (not surprising with over 30,000 dead!)....
Thanks a lot for making me aware of Itchy Boots and Noraly, what a wonderful young adventurous lady, way to go. I will certainly enjoy her videos in these long tideous winter months.
I was really interested in and moved by Noraly’s video on the silver mine. I’ve been viewing her earliest Season One videos, and it’s fun to see how her videography and editing skills have progressed over time. I’m sure she would be a great documentary filmmaker. On a completely different note, I have a soft spot for Ducatis as well (coincidentally also beginning with a Monster), and I think it is very telling that Noraly’s dream is to reunite with her first bike. Most of us THINK we are attached to specific bikes, but generally succumb to new bike fever (at least I always have). Noraly is clearly value and experience driven rather than stuck in consumerism mode as so many of us are. Thanks for this really fun video!
Awe, yeh, I love “Itchy-boots”, the incredible talent behind this really courageous adventure traveler! Breathtaking videography, and such a lovely personality! 👍🏽👍🏼👍🏽👍🏼. Yeh, I grew up in a culture of “the old west”, and when people came through our area, everyone got excited! It was, “what kind of news do you have?”
hi Nora, the universe is and will continue to be with you! many good things will come to you. you deserve it! And the universe will conspire in your favor! Thank and be happy! thanks for the interview with this great lady
This is a "take charge woman" re: The change tire situation. She's riding along and states"I'm getting a puncture!" In the next scene, she pulls off the wheel, breaks down the tire with tire irons, If you've done this, you'll have an appreciation for that task, never a complaint or a fret from her, she adapts and overcomes.
Really? How exactly did she 'adapt and overcome' getting bailed out of Peru by Dutch taxpayers? If she was a bloke, you wouldn't even be commenting, as blokes have fixed punctures on motorcycles for decades and decades.
@@tonebonetones You may be on to something there, but you see I don't know of any guys that went solo on a bike for 60,000+ miles let alone any women. it's a feat that I would not attempt. My dual-sport days are behind me, I wasn't that good at it anyway! More to my point, there's a guy on RUclips that is doing a similar trip and his videos are unwatchable as he continually whines and complains about his plight. She does not! The tire change episode was an example of that. As far as the flight back to the Netherlands was concerned, these are strange times and she had little choice.
@@tonebonetones "We have problems? We fix them!" is her unofficial motto. She is not unique in that respect, but it's still a joy to watch. Whining about her being bailed out by Dutch taxpayers (in which she herself had a big hand in organising btw) doesn't take anything away from that. The corona situation is hardly something you can plan for, or fix yourself if you get caught in it. As a Dutch taxpayer myself, I think bailing her, or any other fellow adventurous countryman out of a perilous situation is a much better way of spending money than a lot of other things they spend money on.
@@tonebonetones Your comment is so sad and angy :( You seem like a very frustrated person. Good luck with that. I would rather be wathing and listening to an inspired Noraly on her adventures than read comments of a sad bloke like you who ony complains about others who in the real world live a life you only dream about. Noraly is the real life warrior and explorer. You are just a keyboard warrior. My hart goes out to you. Good luck with being who you are right now.
So I’m watching this again(ish)... didn’t finish the first time, but I will today. I’d never heard of Itchyboots, but I stopped at about minute 12 so I could binge watch every series. Noraly is beyond total bad ass - she’s an actual inspiration. I loved Scandinavia, mainly because at this point in my life, it’s the most likely journey I can do. When the kids are older I’m going to go further. Way further. And that’s all down to Noraly. Thanks!
"With these headphones You look like princess Leah" ahaha, brilliant ! By the way an excellent interview (my humble opinion) and another occasion to hear Noraly speaking about her adventures, what is a release for her frustrated fans since she can't publish videos every day anymore.
Andy, Noraly thank you so much for this interview, my wife and I watched it and thoroughly enjoyed, we have followed Noraly from the beginning and love her adventures. Best wishes to you both.
Anth David , there are many places in the US where the Himalayan will be in its element. We still have a lot of dirt roads, narrow back roads, trails, etc. have you heard of the TransAmerican Trail?
Noraly rides with Angels watching over her. She has been helped out of the blue many times by Angels showing up when she need them . Absolutely amazing. Lots of people praying for her.
Two great RUclips motorbike personalities, real entertainment listening to them chat. Thanks to you both for getting together, thanks to Andy for posting.
The biking came first for me in the early 70s but have also loved traveling My first big trip abroad was around Europe on my Suzuki GT750 A in 1976 . I'm of to Berlin next week to visit the Motorrad factory doing it over 3 days I always go overland /ferry or ship with my own bike unless its America I love the interview but one thing that came up was the fact that the RUclips stuff takes up a lot of time and in some ways I feel it must take away from the enjoyment of the biking and I never go on an organised tour Do you find it takes away the freedom and fun of the trips in some way I rode down to Malorca again at Easter this year and would recommend it possible one of the best Islands to explore on a bike Keep up the good work and ride safe John
Speaking for me yes John, yes, the need to produce RUclips videos does detract from the trip - on rare occasions I go away without taking the camera for that reason. I’m not complaining though - making RUclips videos is a fun hobby and I’m lucky to be able to make a living doing it….
Well done, Andy! Been following Noraly since very near the beginning, her videos always leave you wanting more! Great interview, great questions from your viewers, and the out-takes were awesome! Even tho I'm laid-up, healing from a riding injury, took me a while to set aside 1.3 hrs to watch this in one setting....well worth the time!! Cheers Andy!
Greetings from South Africa, Andy. I am a complete newby to Noraly as well as your channels with whom I have subscribed as well. Thank you for a brilliant interview and Yes, I have watched some of your bike reviews quite some time ago, I think cars too like the 2CV Citroen?! 🤔
Andy and Noraly, a great video. Watching both of you channels for some time has been very enjoyable. Most importantly, you both have inspired me to get back into riding after a 15 year hiatus! I purchased a 2020 Bonneville T120 and have loved every second on it. So don't ever think your contact is boring. Andy, I really enjoy your review content, and Noraly, I enjoy living vicariously through your channel and enjoy seeing all of your adventures. Stay safe.

I have followed Noraly for a year or so and the lady is getting much better at off road riding at speed. She is fantastic
Noraly shows more of the world and its truth than any of the media the differences are huge. The world needs more Noralys . Great interview cheers
Agreed!
Agreed,John. The people she meets, seem to be polar opposites to what governments, and media, would have us believe. 👍🏻
Maaan, i admire so much to this girl. Thank you for this interview 👏👏👏
A really great interview with great questions that we all had been thinking about asking her. TEAM ITCHY BOOTS subscriber here!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Great chat. Thanks a lot. It was really a pleasure to listen to. In fact I was LOL when Noraly mentioned her handling of not really understood questions of inhabitants. Sometimes I felt this indeed when she answered.
It was quiet a challenge when in high altitude . Hearing the difficult breathing and still have to get bike up or walking.
Brave, very brave.👍🤙
Documentary make is a perfect fit! You have everything it takes, intelligence, openness, empathy, curiosity and much more!
I dunno - I suspect she's already on her next tour and I will have missed my chance. We are in touch on WA from time to time so can always ask....
It occurs to me that since this lockdown started I have watched no live broadcast TV. Excellent content like this is the reason why.
Garmin inreach is definitely worth its weight in gold for a person that rides adventure motorcycles. Glad to hear that you have one Noraly.
Thank you for watching and for stopping by!
Noraly has a great channel, always amazed me what she managed to make and upload while travelling. Was genuinely worried watching her trying to get home during lockdown. Thanks for the interview, catch the rest of the interview later on the big TV.
Enjoy both your channels! I have been following Noraly for some time.. thanks for chatting with her.. Thumbs up! Cheers!😀👍🤗🤗
I thank her parents for bringing up their daughter so well mannered.
I am quite impressed by her energy keeping herself busy with ever new projects ... ;-)
18:28mn.
Her first were as great as the last one.
My favourites are when Noralie descript the geology/ history of the place.
TMF, just WOW....smashing good show. Two of the best in the business. You really pulled it off this time. Went on for more than an hour and I didn’t want it to end. Cheers 👍🏼 😎 🇺🇸
Cheers Bradley!
Had me glued to the screen the whole vid. Cheers TMF, you both know how to entertain us with interesting moto related adventures. 👍🏍😷🇦🇺
Thanks Russell - always good to hear from you...it's been a while, where have you been?
Wow wow...noraly with sound :-) nice to have you two on chat.
Let's show the pro's how it's done eh? ;0)
@@TheMissendenFlyer I get wat you guys mean by that .....😊😊😊😊😂😂
hi Nora, the universe is and will continue to be with you! many good things will come to you. you deserve it!
Yes, I wish I had her courage and strength of character. An amazing person
Can anyone tell me the make of those headphones? I cannot identify them anywhere. Great interview by the way.
Andy, Noraly thank you so much for this interview, my wife and I watched it and thoroughly enjoyed, we have followed Noraly from the beginning and love her adventures. Best wishes to you both.
Great interview, she’s so spontaneous and answers the questions so fluently. What next, a Harley-Davidson tour of the US perhaps....
Anth David , there are many places in the US where the Himalayan will be in its element. We still have a lot of dirt roads, narrow back roads, trails, etc. have you heard of the TransAmerican Trail?
Love the Itchy Boots series, very brave lady and excellent presentation. Noraly certainly has a future in TV
Noraly rides with Angels watching over her. She has been helped out of the blue many times by Angels showing up when she need them . Absolutely amazing. Lots of people praying for her.
Dont think it’s anything g to do with angels - more resourcefulness on Noraly’s part!
What a treat to open your channel and see my absolute two favorite moto vloggers together. Thank you both very much.
Nice to see Noraly is keeping well and great she managed to understand TMF's 100mph speech and interruptions.😉
Yes very impressive command of multiple languages!
Yeah, TMF does seem to like the sound of his own voice and the limelight.
Love hearing what time the day starts! Gives context to the full day's travels.
Fantastic interview what a genuine person good one TMF
Thank you Richard, glad you enjoyed it...
Two great RUclips motorbike personalities, real entertainment listening to them chat. Thanks to you both for getting together, thanks to Andy for posting.
She has great facial expressions, positiveness, an infectious laugh...and she's independent.....................!
The more frustrated she is the cuter she is i can’t help it I’m in love with her ❤
Great stuff TMF, great interview and chat...but how can you go wrong with a fab guest like Noraly!! Cheers, Steve
The documentary question was a great question, Noraly's eyes kind of lit up a bit on that one. She would be great at it.
The biking came first for me in the early 70s but have also loved traveling
My first big trip abroad was around Europe on my Suzuki GT750 A in 1976 .
I'm of to Berlin next week to visit the Motorrad factory doing it over 3 days
I always go overland /ferry or ship with my own bike unless its America
I love the interview but one thing that came up was the fact that the RUclips stuff takes up a lot of time and in some ways I feel it must take away from the enjoyment of the biking and I never go on an organised tour
Do you find it takes away the freedom and fun of the trips in some way
I rode down to Malorca again at Easter this year and would recommend it
possible one of the best Islands to explore on a bike
Keep up the good work and ride safe
John
Speaking for me yes John, yes, the need to produce RUclips videos does detract from the trip - on rare occasions I go away without taking the camera for that reason. I’m not complaining though - making RUclips videos is a fun hobby and I’m lucky to be able to make a living doing it….
She is so so wonderful ❤️
Well done, Andy! Been following Noraly since very near the beginning, her videos always leave you wanting more! Great interview, great questions from your viewers, and the out-takes were awesome! Even tho I'm laid-up, healing from a riding injury, took me a while to set aside 1.3 hrs to watch this in one setting....well worth the time!! Cheers Andy!
Glad you enjoyed it Allen!
She sure got the talent (actually she has all what it takes) to make first class documentary videos...
Greetings from South Africa, Andy. I am a complete newby to Noraly as well as your channels with whom I have subscribed as well. I am soon to be 74 and have been riding bikes for some 60 years and still own a motorcycle. Thank you for a brilliant interview and Yes, I have watched some of your bike reviews quite some time ago, I think cars too like the 2CV Citroen?! 🤔
Noraly is so honest and sweet, such a lovely girl
Andy and Noraly, a great video. Watching both of you channels for some time has been very enjoyable. Most importantly, you both have inspired me to get back into riding after a 15 year hiatus! I purchased a 2020 Bonneville T120 and have loved every second on it. So don't ever think your contact is boring. Andy, I really enjoy your review content, and Noraly, I enjoy living vicariously through your channel and enjoy seeing all of your adventures. Stay safe.
