And I know exactly why they do it. Because they want customers to have to walk around almost the entire store, hoping they will make some impulse purchases, in addition to what they actually came in for. This is exactly why supermarkets do not have milk, eggs or bread near the entrance to the store. They are usually about as far away from the entrance as possible. This makes the customers have to walk through the store and possibly pick up some other items on impulse before they get to what they want.this is not going to change even though it’s incredibly annoying.
