She gives you a soft smile before grabbing her things to make her way over to you. Her red lipstick and porcelain skin, cut by a bright green dress, become even more perfect as she sits next to you… June, 1963. You awake to find it all a distant memory as rain soaks your face. The same rain that fell that night when you walked her home. She stands over your body, a smoking gun in her hand. You reach into your jacket for a cigarette and feel the wet of your blood, all the while that song plays in your head, the same one that played when you met. You light one last cigarette and take a final drag, as she walks into the night, a smile on her face.
All I heard were my friends in battle get set on fire by metal monsters, I was helpless. They even had soldiers with armor as strong as tungsten. My only thought was to run away as far as I could from the battlefield, I saw a mushroom cloud in the distance, I knew I had to keep running even if my legs wanted to give out and make me fall down into the bloody mud.
Today i just let go of my crush, I cannot express the amount of feelings for her but it seems she is just not intrested in me. And with the end of the school year approaching it seems like it just was not meant to be.We are graduating in 2 weeks and i wish there was just more time but, its time to let go. I dont know what other person is out there for me but someday i will find her so goodbye Crush.
