100%. I'm misanthropic today but I would have been so social and outgoing during that time. I mean I was social in my teens and 20s, but in my 30s i just cba with people anymore. People are just so selfish, greedy and dull, charismaless drones today. Sure, it's 100x better for gay people or black people, but that's just coz civil rights and law got better. People as individuals are no better, if not much worse.
