Can you believe that a game called "Counter Strike Global Offensive" has other side of it.... INVESTING! yes you heard that right, some skins(weapons), stickers etc which are part of the game used to cost only couple of bucks a few years ago are now worth thousands of dollars, also people with these expensive skins lend them to professional to play at competitive level and in return they charge quite a good amount. I think gaming industry has more to it than we think.

The process of game development is so deep, that there are jobs for every role imaginable. I've already got 2 of my MBA holding friends jobs in the games industry in the marketing department.

Everyone I have met has said the same thing to pursue something real instead of playing games and I used to fight them about it that if I succeed it can be a huge thing but eventually I gave in and started to think maybe they are right and I am on the wrong, this was around 2015 and I was 12 then. As the years went on I never really let my childhood dream of becoming a gamer die but I was slowly losing hope as time went on and started getting depressed as to what I would do in the future, I have watched many videos of gaming as a career but not any particularly for India and then this video came, now I am optimistic that I atleast have a greater chance than before and even if I don't succeed I will have atleast tried my best and I will be happy to watch this industry grow as time goes on.

Totally agreed, It's okey with gaming as a player but When it comes to development people ignores it just because they think i need a team for that! i need a good amount of funds for that! excetra excetra... But they never think about indie game development, How a true game dev journey starts, Only a single man is enough to make massive hit games exp Dead cells, Celeste and Pathologict and many many more. And even they didn't spend a single amount of money until they got Hit! And also people think its hard to develop indie games we have to be artist, programmer, game designer,3d modeler, animator blah blah, No
Just a bit knowledge of programming and a gaming engine will work very fine! and even coding is also not needed to develop games, many engines supports Visual scripting which is very easy to learn! Indian game development sector is growing very fast but hidden, but many many people don't take interest in this field, But yeah in backside they are expanding!
People also wants to learn game dev as i saw enough but the problem is that We Don't Have Proper Source Of knowledge to treat them with! India has very very low amount of Game development collages/schools/centers , and many of them don't teach proper game development as compared to foreign countries! but the source of knowledge is booming on the internet with Free/Paid tuts/courses But people don't trust them because they believe in certificates of collages or school, A well published game studio company ask for a skill not a certificate ;) i just want to say anyone can become a good indie gamedeveloper if he really wants to all source of knowledge is available on the internet, no need for collage and school in the beginning! btw very informative video for passionate gamers and developers!

The fact that you people put forward a cautious awareness about gambling based games speaks volumes about your moral compass. Especially in times when gambling game apps pay a fortune for promoting it for just a few seconds. Owing to your massive popularity, there is no doubt they must have approached you with a hefty offer.. Kudos to you for holding your moral grounds 👏🏼

But gaming can be addictive at times. So play responsibly ☺️
