In some cases guns were banned in just the years before people were rounded up, and in others the existing disarmed state of the citizenry left whole people groups open to genocide. Just the other day, I was at Barnes and Noble trying to buy a self-help book, and the cashier had me show them my ID, fill out a federal background check form, pay an extra $40 for them to process the purchase of the book, and then made me wait a whole week before I could take the book home, just in case I was buying the self-help book without a clear head.
And yet, when I went into a gun store once as a teenager, they asked me if I'd like to borrow one and I said yes. Then they helped me check one out and I left.

I served two combat tours as 11 series. The military didn’t give me a firearm to defend ourselves against enemies. We used nerf guns and hugs to employ understanding and friendship.

Many companies sold 80% completed lower receivers for AR's or grip frames for handguns, etc. You could complete the manufacturing of the 80% portion of the firearm. It was not serialized due to not being a completed portion of the firearm or completed to the degree that the ATF deems should be serialized. This in my eyes prevented the federal government from illegally expanding their already illegal and expansive collection of firearms / gun owners information. Hobbyists would buy these kits to put a gun together also. People did 3D print gun parts also for the previously mentioned reasons. I have an AR in .22 Long rifle, my neighbor went nuts when she saw I had a machine gun. Even called the police on me. When the 4 police cars showed up, I had to explain that it was an AR22 and not a machine gun. The one officer rolled his eyes and made a comment about her being a stupid Karen.
I remember how hard it was when I was 14 when I walked into a Barnes and Noble and attempted to buy Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. They said that they needed to be 18 years or older, have a drivers’ license or photo ID, and must be subject to a criminal background check. When I told them that I didn’t see why I needed any of those things, they gave me a one hour lecture on how it was extremely important that they have tight measures on these books because they can be dangerous for young people like me. So, bored out of my mind with nothing to do, I went to the gun shop next door and got ninety percent off my first Glock. Didn’t end up using it. It was a great experience though. The gun store owners even gave me a years’ supply of ammo! Can you believe it??? Nowadays I don’t even touch books. The police search my car for books all the time and it always comes up clean! I was so moved by the facts expressed in this video I was compelled to load all 40 some guns I have into my pick up and visit a far less affluent neighborhood where the residents may not have the ability to afford fine firearms. So by leaving my collection on a street corner I feel I was providing a service to the less fortunate. Many companies sold 80% completed lower receivers for AR's or grip frames for handguns, etc. You could complete the manufacturing of the 80% portion of the firearm. It was not serialized due to not being a completed portion of the firearm or completed to the degree that the ATF deems should be serialized. This in my eyes prevented the federal government from illegally expanding their already illegal and expansive collection of firearms / gun owners information. Hobbyists would buy these kits to put a gun together also. People did 3D print gun parts also for the previously mentioned reasons. The federal government is against "ghost guns" because it prevents them from expanding their illegal database and having control over the population. It's really that simple.

I remember how hard it was when I was 14 when I walked into a Barnes and Noble and attempted to buy Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. They said that they needed to be 18 years or older, have a drivers’ license or photo ID, and must be subject to a criminal background check. When I told them that I didn’t see why I needed any of those things, they gave me a one hour lecture on how it was extremely important that they have tight measures on these books because they can be dangerous for young people like me. So, bored out of my mind with nothing to do, I went to the gun shop next door and got ninety percent off my first Glock. Didn’t end up using it. It was a great experience though. The gun store owners even gave me a years’ supply of ammo! Can you believe it??? Nowadays I don’t even touch books. The police search my car for books all the time and it always comes up clean! Thanks to the NRA!

I was so moved by the facts expressed in this video I was compelled to load all 40 some guns I have into my pick up and visit a far less affluent neighborhood where the residents may not have the ability to afford fine firearms. So by leaving my collection on a street corner I feel I was providing a service to the less fortunate. I was also requested to make a cash donation to one young disadvantaged gentleman...well cash...credit cards...debit card....drivers license.... but I am sure it went to a good cause.
