Now I got my answers.
Finally a video that kept it plain and simple. Thie exactly what I was hoping to hear
So what connection give the best audio quality from (modern 4k) tv to active( 2.1 )high res speakers?
Unfortunately I'm not on the audiophile level yet to be able to say.
I doubt you'd be able to hear the difference from one connection to another.
Great video now searching for mini amp
FYI the mini amp I got is only 50 watt and I honestly wish I had gotten more so I recommend above 50 watts when you are shopping for yours. Cheers.
Thank you
Does the amp watt matter?? Also what if I’m connecting just one sub? Does it matter where I put the wires as far as the left or right ports?
Is there any alternative for amplifier or can we conect these type of speakers staight to tv
Hey Rish. Not these type of speakers. Only active speakers. This video here shows the difference - ruclips.net/video/cSX0pAdcGp0/видео.html
Problem is, a lot of modern TVs don't even have an analogue audio out socket (e.g. RCA, headphone jack). My LG TV just has a crappy digital out socket, which isn't controlled by the TV's volume on the remote, so you'll need a remote for the external amp you connect, once you've paid around £10 or so for a DAC, even though there'll already be a DAC inside the TV for its own amp & speakers.
I guess the thing to do would be open up the back of the TV and hook up RCAs to the internal amp's input wires.
Great set of videos mate. I kept surround sound speakers from a previous TV which were connected straight into the TV. My upgraded TV does not support this option so can I remove the back and connect them directly to the speaker connectors inside the TV threading the wires through a vent for e.g. and thus bypass the need for an amp?
Hey, thanks. I know people have done that and some say it works but I’m not at the level of expertise to comment any further. lol
@@SimpleCafeE thanks mate. I've already plugged it up to an amp which runs 2 15 inches but to be honest the old school marantz amp needs switch cleaning and is crackly anytime you go near the volume control. Hehe, we love speakers.
I have a tv that's an older version of the flat screen and it has cables connected to small built in speakers so I disconnected them and connected tv wires to a dual 10 in speaker box with no amp and I'm a fraud to pick up the volume to a 100 percent.....what will happen if I did put it at the highest volume will my tv fry or what can happen?
It is probable the the ohms in your tvs amp are not adequate for your external speakers which as you fear, could fry your tvs amplifier.
Cool thanks
So what do I need for two ten subs to be able to use on my tv at high volume? Car speakers
I think the circuitry on the tv limits your power...
I went to Best Buy yesterday and thankfully that location had 3 rooms of Home theater systems. I told him I wanted 2 12' but I had no receiver. He said you either get a soundbar with sub kit or get a reciever. Because the tv can produce low frequencies for the sub. Recommended a 5 channel yamaha so in the future I can expand on number of speakers. 200 for receiver and 174 each sub. Also can't use tv speakers while external speakers.
How much ohm that speaker is?
Hello my tele has no outputs only inputs right left jack plus video jack .but it has scart and 1 hdmi are these in and out puts for a dvd recorder or am I in the er no win
What happens if you connect the speaker wires to the wires of the tv speakers????
You'll be directing the tv sound to them. which hopefully won't be a problem. depends on the ohms of the tv and speakers.
Say can we have TVs with great picture and sound
something is never too big nor too expensive, I'm sure manufacturers have a deal with amplifier companies. TVs could have a simple/basic amplifier if they tried to
Very true! But I think they're just looking to keep costs low wherever they can. and honestly most consumers don't look to hook up external speakers.
If you take the back panel off you can directly wire it to the tv
Potentially.
Spot on, ive done it to my TV.
@@kanetanti8870 me too. I just removed the tiny speakers and connected the wires to new bigger speakers
Does it consume lot electricity
If I get a amp for my speaker is there a way to get the sound on my TV and the speaker at the same time? Or when I get a amp it'll only send sound to the speaker?
And I only have one speaker so if I connect it to a amp does it matter if I pick the R or L??
Hey Yokyo. It doesn’t matter for L,R. It may be an issue though in some cases if the content you’re watching does separate the sound then some parts may go unheard. Regarding your first question- it depends on your tv. If you connect via the aux port it may cut it off from your tv -but really those options are going to be up to the tv maker.
I really need help because i have old speakers but theres no video or any info on them ANYWHERE around the internet. And idk what to do bc they are just wires they dont have anything else
They need to be plugged into an amplifier/stereo. They have some decently priced ones like this one amzn.to/3bHXPfJ
@@SimpleCafeE so do i just connect the loose wires into the amplifier?? Does just the cables alone work for it?
Yup. Those are passive speakers. Check this video out ruclips.net/video/cSX0pAdcGp0/видео.html
@@SimpleCafeE thank you so much! You helped more than anyone else has so i thank you, and thanks for all the links! I already ordered the amp and it should get here in a couple of days!
Happy to help. Hope you enjoy your speakers 👍
I liked this
Iİs verry simple, open your tv , unplug your speaker cable from internal speakers, connect the cable to your external speaker.
Great idea. I have a couple speakers I don't use and a tv just sitting around. I like messing with electronics 😁
No no don't do it .
It's a bad i dea . Remember that the smart TV's don't support heavy speakers . Buy a mini amp and enjoy gud sound .
@@AbdullahSiddique980 I did the exact thing and have the best audio quality I've ever heard. Literally just used door speakers out of a car and wired them to a Roku tv. It's so loud I can't even go above 20 without hurting my ears in the other room. All I looked at this video for was trying to figure out how to wire a subwoofer into the mix for big bass, just to be told what I already did is impossible lol
@@AbdullahSiddique980 bullshit
I have cut my tv speaker wires and put copper wire in the cut, then I run the copper wire to my subs and it works
can i use a decoder instead of an amplifier
Yes, if the decoder sends audio Out.
can you just take the sub wires and wire those conections to it and plug it in to your tv
With rca cables if you want
Can I connect the speaker direct to the tv by using rca wire without an amplifier?
Still need an amplifier
Hi Miera, amplifier is power, which a passive speaker needs. So you’ll need an active speaker or amplifier bc the amplifier the tv has is just too small, for little tv speakers only.
The RCA on TVs is registered to a specific output, meaning I believe if you did connect Speaker Wires like that, the only way you could hear the sound is if your TV is on the AV channel, which of course is a complete no-go.
If I get a mini Amp, can I control volume with my TV remote
Hi Donnie, it’s gonna depend on the tv. If you wanna test it before getting an amp, do so with some headphones.
Mini power amp in ur link is $80. Give me a break!
You’re right! I think that one went up! A little pricier than what I wanted to recommend. I updated the link to this one - amzn.to/3xk9VWT
Or just take a the speaker in the tv and put there a bigger speaker
People are looking for the info for TV's that have headphone/speaker output, but neither work when plugging them in. People are not looking for info that is over 20 years old
Thank you
Welcome!
