I know it's a completely different genre and a difficult comparison, but could you please compare Ananda's sound to Hype 4?
Glad you enjoy the channel content. Tough comparison. The Ananda is larger sound overall, the bass is more linear, mids are more elevated and forward and the treble has more bite and crispness. Anada stage is significantly wider and deeper with more precise imaging. Tone and timbre is slightly metallic in comparison to the Hype 4.

Hey Dave, I know you already compared these to the xenns top. What I'm asking is if they sound different enough to be a side grade to them. I love my xenns top and wonder if these are similar but more of a side grade for better detail and more controlled bass like you said the hype was. JQ 4U Pro is more neutral and analytical and the Hype 4 has more of a fun lean. 4U Pro has little more air, space , slightly less note weight, similar detail retrieval and resolution. The 4U Pro is a stage monitor thru and thru.

I got blon bl03 after looking at your review and they sound absolutely trash and harsh with metal music or any rock that has drum sounds with distorted guitars, it's just painful in the treble as if it distorts.
Well the Blon 03 has been out for 4 years or so. Technology has improved mightily aling with my source gear, preferences and beliefs. My impressions of the Blon 03 isn't the same as it was back when I did the review. I agree it has harsh resolution especially on poorly recorded music. I'm sorry you don't enjoy them. Thanks for the impressions.
Honestly I just got these. I watched almost all the reviews there are of them and no one’s said anything how they don’t seat properly once you plug them in there’s like a millimeter or two there still that also makes them real easy to unplug them. Another thing every review I watched of them the box is full when unboxing idk if it’s a new thing but they no longer come with the headphone case and silicone ear piece for the headphones. To be honest just for these reasons they’ll probably be returned I personally couldn’t recommend these to anyone. the plug not seating properly into any 3.5mm is my biggest concern with them doesn’t feel like 400$ when it doesn’t go in all the way
Umm I talk about the fit for my ears. As a reviewer you can't speak for everyone else. Sorry you had that fit issue, I have had my share of them, they aren't fun to deal with. As for the box contents, that happens often. Manufacturers often change box contents after the original run.
@@TheHonestAudiophile never said anything was wrong with them fitting in my ears.. I talked about the headphone jack and what no longer comes in the box, and if that’s the case about them changing what comes in the box then they should change the box so it doesn’t seem like you’re missing any contents of your purchase, also if they are going to take away from what comes with them then they should decrease the price along with it.
I'm sorry I thought when you said that they don't seat properly you were talking about a fit and seal issue. My apologies for misunderstanding. The box contents often change. I recommend you take that complaint up with the manufacturer or vendor. I just review what is provided to me.

@kristines.8595 look forward to hearing your impressions
How is it compare to Xenss top
Answer is already in comments above.
@@mrutunjaytiwari9973 thanks
Well, the Hype 4 arrived today in time for my birthday and i gotta say. Just listening to the Blackout album by Scorpions...these sound astronomically better than the Studio 4 😅
Glad you enjoy the Hype 4.
Does the hype 4 is upgrade to tangzu x hbb wu heyday edition ??. Or is it sidegrade ??.
I haven't heard the Heyday since I reviewed it and to be honest wasn't that impressed. Going off memory, the Hype 4 has more natural tone and timbre, less forward mids and better resolution. I prefer the Hype 4 over the Heyday and use it on a regular basis, the Heyday has been passed along to a friend.
how is the technical abilities like stage / imaging compared to top?
Xenns Top is more fun leaning and Hype 4 is more analytical leaning. Both are exceptional and similar sounding but the Hype 4 is slightly more accurate with tone and timbre and a little more resolution, fairly even everything else.
@@TheHonestAudiophile thanks for the reply, really like the way you described technicalities in all of your vids, earned a new sub 👍 😁
My pleasure, you're welcome. Glad you enjoy the channel content and find it helpful. Thanks for subscribing, much appreciated.
how it perform against tinhifi p1 max ????? this neutral and natural and technical ?? and if its an upgrade from p1 max
Different presentations. P1 Max is neutral and natural, Hype 4 is neutral with fun infused. the Hype 4 has more details and resolution. if you want a more fun sound then Hype 4 is upgrade.
How this compare with ej07m and variations in terms of technical?
EJ07m I've not heard. The Variations I've not heard since I reviewed. Sorry I don't recall enough to do fair comparison.
I love your channel brother keep it up ? Kiwi quinted or hype 4? I’m a musician and singer
Hype4
Glad you enjoy the channel content.
@@TheHonestAudiophile thank you !! Great choice with that beautiful color
Look forward to hearing your impressions.
@@TheHonestAudiophile yes I’m about to order this tonight
@@TheHonestAudiophilehi brother, my impressions are not the best .. to be honest I’m really upset with sound quality for live performance .. when I first got them I was really excited and try them on with my i pad.. honestly I was surprised how good they sound when this iem are used just for enjoying music .. but live performance was a total mess .. kick drum and voice had a lot of distortion.. highs are not the best for clarity.. I had to go back to my old iem juicy earz which are less expensive and only have 5 drivers and are way more more more better… I tried to return them but not worth it because they will charge me shipping .. and restocking fee..
How does it compare to Dusk?
Sorry haven't heard either Dusk
Size compared to clairvoyance/monarch shells?
I don't have a Clairvoyance available to compare side by side but it is similar in shape to Oracle mkii.
@@TheHonestAudiophileThanks! I have a feeling they're all about the same size: too big for me. It's a shame that there's almost never shell measurements for iem reviews.
@supernaut7946 Shell measurements, interesting thought. Will give that a thinking 🤔
Blessing 3 technicals comparison?
I've not heard a Blessing 3 since I reviewed it so I can't compare them directly. If memory serves me correctly, they're fairly similar but the only difference is the Blessing 3 is a bit more direct and forthright in presentation.
How does this compare to the xenns top? Which should I get?
Xenns Top is more fun leaning and Hype 4 is more analytical leaning. Both are exceptional and similar sounding but the Hype 4 is slightly more accurate with tone and timbre and a little more resolution, fairly even everything else.
Against hype 2 how good is it ?
Sorry haven't heard the Hype 2.
hi @TheHonestAudiophile , which would you trust more between the hype4 and studio4 for studio referencing use? which would you say has better dynamics and imaging?
Studio 4 is more reference than the Hype 4.
@@TheHonestAudiophile does it also have better transient/dynamics and imaging than the hype 4?
is there a iem you would recommend over these ones for studio mixing/mastering work?
Westone Mach 60 is my reference IEM.
Yes, Studio 4 better transient/dynamics and imaging than the hype 4? The Hype 4 is more fun than reference but is an okay IEM for monitoring.
vs. JQ Audio 4U Pro?
JQ 4U Pro is more neutral and analytical and the Hype 4 has more of a fun lean. 4U Pro has little more air, space , slightly less note weight, similar detail retrieval and resolution. The 4U Pro is a stage monitor thru and thru.
@@TheHonestAudiophile thanks very helpful. sending $$
How do you compare the Mangrid Top with Hype 4?
Xenns Top is more fun leaning and Hype 4 is more analytical leaning. Both are exceptional and similar sounding but the Hype 4 is slightly more accurate with tone and timbre and a little more resolution, fairly even everything else.
@@TheHonestAudiophile Thanks man. I guess hype 4 is for me then since they are so similar and hype 4 is cheaper too.
@Satyajit_Dey look forward to hearing your impressions
how do you compare with xenns top, moondrop variations and hype 4? which one you prefer more?
The Variations I've not heard since I reviewed. Sorry I don't recall enough to do fair comparison.
Xenns Top is more fun leaning and Hype 4 is more analytical leaning. Both are exceptional and similar sounding but the Hype 4 is slightly more accurate with tone and timbre and a little more resolution, fairly even everything else.
I have been using Truthear Zero (blue) for a week, but it seems like there is something missing. My goal is to play games and listen to music. The voice of the player behind me sounds confused as if it were in front of me, or I can't detect it :) This is my first time using an iEM headset. Before this, I was using the Sennheiser HD700 and I could locate rival players as if I were placing them with my hand. I live in Turkey and the conditions here are a bit challenging, I don't think I can constantly try different brands and models :/ Can you recommend me a nice model? I just want to put on my headphones and enjoy myself, I'm so confused, please help. My budget is $400. Is Simgot ea1000 the right choice or should I buy ea2000? I don't want to incur unnecessary expenses. Would you recommend me to pre-order and purchase The Audio Hype 4 model? I will have to wait 2 months.
Hype 4 is a significant upgrade to all that you mentioned.
Beautiful IEM, wanted to keep it but it has chewed up treble. Sticking with my trifecta: EM6L, Variations, and IE600.
What is chewed up treble?
Whoa now…settle down wallet!
Tell me about it 😂
AUD$618. 😢
Any chance of a Moondrop Dusk review coming?
If a Dusk is provided or the funds become available I will gladly listen and review it.
@@TheHonestAudiophile Cool. Love your reviews!
