I was waiting on your POV regarding this. I saw this announcement last week and said, “Professor Dean is about to enter the chat!” Because I live in a market that has neither Neiman or Saks, I don’t get to shop either unless I travel to another market; but saying that, when I do get to experience either, I definitely see the difference between the two.
That makes my heart glad 🤗 I prefer the Neimans assortment mix over Saks, but that’s probably due to my time spent in Dallas. I pray they let each brand stay true to itself…

It just makes me sad cause there’s no competition for my money. I’m in Chicago where we have all three (Neimans and saks are literally across the street from each other and Bloomingdale’s down the street), I could count on saks havjng the edgier mens collections and neimans fragrance counter is next level. I’m not sure how to feel about the entire thing.
How about Nordstrom Men’s? My husband used to shop the Michigan Ave store when we lived in Chicago. Personally, I’m loving ‘Fear of God’ men’s right now. That last show blew me away…
Well, there goes competitiveness and variety in markets, do I hear monopoly? Amazon is just everywhere we soon might be buying a house from them or insurance. Not too kin on another channel because I doubt, I would subscribe because I am trying to get rid of some of those that I no longer feel, or they have stop putting out content because time is precious these days.

Neimans lacked good customer service and they also had a stock issue
