He made a 10 min job hours I released this design over 2 years ago just with Jack up legs 🦵 this guys a dumb wanker.. use shipping containers attachments poits 2 seconds 😂
I like how u can use your trailer anytime u need it for part of the year u aren't camping. Saves a few thousand bucks right there. Freaken awesome idea
I kind of like the idea of this as a cargo trailer. As a construction Superintendent, you could haul tools to the jobsite, drop and secure the pod for tool crib, and trailer for material runs
Is there a build video / video series for the camper portion? I'd love to see how you did it, what's inside, etc. Fan-friggen-tastic idea and execution!
Genius idea! If someone made this commercially, a lot of people would buy it. I have a 6x10 flat bed and I’d love to have a pod I can put on top for camping, remove when I need to use my flatbed. Awesome!
I’ve wanted to do something very similar because here in Switzerland I would have to reclassify the trailer as a camper and pay much more if the pod was permanently attached. Nice job!
Dude this is genius! I have to say I’m going to use this idea. Been wanting to make a teardrop for a while but I love the Swiss Army knife trailer idea 😆
I had my 10' bundutec pop up tent on a custom built enclosed truck rack, but now I'm looking at building something similar to what you have with the trailer and put my pop up on top. Very cool build
I originally was going to build one like this, but when a different way. One Idea that I had was make the pod 6" wider (same as fenders) once it got above the rails, making it so the inside was wide enough to put the bed right/left instead of front/back.
Dude, you're set up is so amazing, I wish I had a garage like yours. I live in New York City, but I just got a trailer going to go across country with my dirtbike and camp....
I was thinking of using a Cybertruck for a base vehicle with various pod configurations. I thought food truck pod. Then maybe a utility pod to make it a work truck. Now I see that your creation can easily be adapted.
These trailers are the most useful accessory one can add to nearly any car. Faster than a speeding Corolla! More cargo than a modern pickup! Able to leap into camper mode for a single weekend! It's Supertrailer!
LOVE IT :D . i'd add "legs to the camper instead of wheels . sure it wouldnt looks so streamlined, but you could simple drive trailer under the pod, drop it down and fold the "legs" . not to mention you could keep the floors away from damp grounds if you'd ever need trailer .
Why not legs with wheels? look at the way the Ericcson Skycrane looks, with the long legs and wheels. Or, just use the legs as up down jacks, and still set it on the wheels like he has. You could even 'leg' it off the trailer at a camp site, and not tie up the trailer for the whole trip.
This is the video that I’ve been hoping to find. I’m almost at the end of my design phase and should be ready to start the construction process on my own camping trailer box, that I will be using on my 6’x 10’ utility trailer. My ramp is unfortunately not removable, so I’m going to have a little more work to figure out how to get my box onto, and then off of the trailer.
I actually started the same project then had to put it off. I did build my new Post Frame house and garage 😆. I'm still going to finish it and do some camping though.
Very well engineered, anytime you can make a 3 person job a one person job you are winning!
Y
Mitchell campers had a hand crank system in 1970’s where you could crank overhead camper into the bed

Nice Concept! Do You Have A Build Video For The Sleeper Pod??
What about inside pictures.
I like how u can use your trailer anytime u need it for part of the year u aren't camping. Saves a few thousand bucks right there. Freaken awesome idea
White privilege

Bingo
What's on the inside of threge camper bed, cook top,
Love this idea. So simple yet never crossed my mind. Thx sir
I designed a couple variations that could go into a Truk bed or a trailer like this... Great idea Imho.
I LIKE THE COLOR ORANGE ASWELL.
I really like the anchor bolts replacing the cables and turnbuckles ! Much better anchoring system ! 👍👍
Is there a build video / video series for the camper portion? I'd love to see how you did it, what's inside, etc. Fan-friggen-tastic idea and execution!
Man this is such a great idea!! Love how you combined the two and used something you already had to make a conplete system. Love the modularity of it!
This is awesome. It would be neat to have a pod that extended over the railing to make it wider inside the pod - but this is really a good concept.
That's a damn fine idea and design right there! 😍 👍 Plus it's orange which we all know is the most bestest color ever!
Genius idea! If someone made this commercially, a lot of people would buy it. I have a 6x10 flat bed and I’d love to have a pod I can put on top for camping, remove when I need to use my flatbed. Awesome!
This makes a pretty cool multi use set up. I like it!
I’ve wanted to do something very similar because here in Switzerland I would have to reclassify the trailer as a camper and pay much more if the pod was permanently attached. Nice job!
As simple as it looks very intricate technique make a smooth process nice
Holy crap that is awesome

Oh my god that is so clean and smooth. Incredible work with this rig!
Dude this is genius! I have to say I’m going to use this idea. Been wanting to make a teardrop for a while but I love the Swiss Army knife trailer idea 😆
Well, now I have a new project. Very nice setup
Awesome job and idea. Seeing this makes me want to build one myself.
This is still awesome.

Cool setup there👌
this is something I have been thinking of doing for years! such a great idea.
That’s brilliant!!
Can't wait to see the 2nd story! 🎉

What a resourceful use of your stuff.. very nice.
Love the orange color 😍

Dude, you're set up is so amazing, I wish I had a garage like yours. I live in New York City, but I just got a trailer going to go across country with my dirtbike and camp....

That's dope. Well done
What a great and versatile idea
That’s what I’ve wanted to do for a long time but with an aluminum trailer that is a great design how it’s connected ! 👍
Brilliant build
Smart, simple system. Good work!
If you could do us a favor and explain where to get and add those bolts because this would save me time and money getting started asap.
Great idea!
Very nice!
That is very cool and useful
Very interesting Multi-purpose trailer and tent!

That setup is amazing, friend!
Very nicely engineered and constructed.
Nice setup dude

Nicely done, from the caster wheels to bolting it to the trailer.
Very, very clever I love it
Dude! That’s some serious talent you got there! Not gonna lie! This is very well engineered! 😄
Love it! I want to learn how to do it
Awesome ingenuity with maximizing the capabilities of all pieces of equipment!
Nice man. Looks like 2 weeks out in the forest!
