Radical, I’ll say! I wanted to handle it, but it was beyond me. When I was trying to hear more of what John could play, after hearing Devotion, I bought the Miles Davis ‘Jack Johnson’ L.P., which was the first MD I had ever bought. I felt there wasn’t enough guitar for me on it, but I was still drawn to listen to that album a lot and got to love it. I think I know that album so well and, although I don’t play it that often, I still love listening to it. That prompted me to buy quite a few other MD records.
