Finally, someone posts an update on the E. Sierra Fishing! Thank you! Glad you got into some fish! Were you there during the week or a weekend?, doesn't seem to be much fishing traffic there.
Thanks for watching! We were there from April 30th-May 4. There wasn’t a lot of people when we were there but there also wasn’t many fishing spots since a lot of it was iced over. The lakes are looking pretty clear now, time to set up another trip out there. I was lucky enough to show up later in the day at convict when it happened to completely thaw out and there were only a couple people fishing. I stopped by the following day and it was packed.
She has gotten so big since the last video I watched. Nice place. Looks like you stayed in Mammoth by the looks of that ice cavern porch haha. Great video. We were iced out of the lake at Silver Lake Resort this opener but still managed to have a great time with friends.
Thanks for watching! Yeah baby Amelia is growing up fast. She can look back one day and see all the adventures she went on. We did stay in mammoth, our condo was completely snowed in. It just felt like it was night time all day since the windows were all covered in snow 😆. Must be nice staying so close to the lake. I need to look into the cabins at silver lake. Glad you had a great time out there.

We stayed in the town of mammoth so it only took about 10-15 minutes to get to convict.
Yes, around 15 minutes. My brother and I stayed in the town of Mammoth and fished Convict lake. It was great!
What kind of bait were you using buddy??
Majority was on salmon egg red powerbait with bang garlic spray. It’s been working pretty good for us at different lakes.

Indeed she is. She’s a wild one right now, always on the move! Definitely will cherish these moments. The leader length was about 16-20 inches.
