  • Woodturning - In this video I combine maple burl pieces with three different colors of resin to make this incredible one of a kind bowl. This bowl was originally going to be more of a pedestal bowl that's inspired by Doug Moore of Pohl Barn Productions but I didn't quite get there, either way it's an incredible bowl. I also do an update on the double walnut crotch hollow form as well. Please like and share.

Wow, I really like that fluted edge! I think you were right, that it does really emphasize many of the lines of the design. It's also very cool to see a departure from the usual!
Colors-wise... I'm an alum of the University of Minnesota, and the school colors are maroon and gold... So what I'm trying to say is that I personally have had my fill of that combo for a lifetime 😆😆😆 Looking forward to the maroon one coming up though!
Besides that, I really like how it turned out with the majority black & gold! It looks like scenes from mystical desert sands. Very cool!

That bowl is beautiful!!! I'm sorry the burgundy disappeared into the gold and black. I am glad the gold dominates the black.i like that shape it's lovely and also good for gripping it when it's full of goodies

Next time chill on the black. Just a touch of black like maybe less than a half a liter. Looking forward to the next time you do one of these wood and resin bowls
