Left from work after a 12 hr midnight shift on wed. and got home late last night (Saturday). Even with the 9 hr. drive each way it was totally worth it. Might do it again next week. Thanks for all your great videos. Fun to relive the trip right away with this one. Lotsa bruises everywhere and a big black eye. No idea which ride gave me that one but had a blast.

I TOTALLY AGREE about the major mistake taking out Fascination!!! I was on the Fascination crew in 1999 (second to last year)! I will say the machinery was old and hard to find parts when it broke down! But Fascination Forever!!!!
I live 10 minutes away from the Point. I go to the park everyday during the season for lunch and dinner during the season using my dining pass and season pass.
thats a good deal i live 45 minutes away so i go to have fun on the rides
@@davids.3724 I haven't been on a Cedar Point Ride since 2017. Despite being in the park frequently. I cant ride coasters because of spinal fusion. And get motion sickness on things that go in circles.

Keesling it was decently busy! Not bad by any means though! You just have to make sure to go to rides with the lower wait times and each ride will eventually drop in wait time! Ttd was open and closed off and on throughout the day like normal! It’s rather frustrating because I’ve missed out on ttd twice in a row because of it but that’s how the cookie crumbles sometimes
The Paino Guys "The Uprights" oh my gosh I loved them!!! They were so amazing

I am using this as another selling point to go this year. I cannot wait til end of July. .
I was at cedar point on Saturday and rode top thrill dragster first thing before you needed the access passes and front row and it was so busy every ride was at least an hour wait accept for the access passes rides.

I would not like them to take away corkscrew because it’s just like vortex (at kings island) and they took vortex away, and vortex was my friends fav ride, and I hope to bring my friend there one day and ride corkscrew with her for however much she wants! :)

I went July 2020 and we stayed at Hotel Breakers Monday-Friday.
I was at Kelley’s island the day you were there and I could see cedar point so that’s kinda cool being near you.
Clown keychain is from an old midway game. Don’t know which variation cedar point had but you would throw bean bags or shoot rubber balls out of cannons at a clown head and shoot out all of the clown’s teeth.

I live near Columbus I go here every summer and Halloween ends its awesome.
Been wanting to go to Cedar Point for years. Millennium Force is the biggest reason why. :)

The defunct Skyride was the frontier lifts. The Skyride in the front of the park still operates

11 to 8 is such short hours.
Probably a weekday. I went this past Thursday and those were the hours
It's not just weekdays, it's weekends too. That's one of the reasons my husband and I won't bother with the drive to put our season passes to use this year. I love the park at night, you don't get that when they close at 8 all summer. They are switching to weekends only later this month, I wish they would at least extend the hours when they do.
@@Nicole-qc5dh I was looking at visiting towards the end of last summer when my wife and I lived in Virginia but even then, the hours were crazy short, so I decided to go to Hersheypark instead. Someday I'll make it out there but I'm going to only go when I can spend two days at the park and the hours each day are more than 10 hours.
@@FanThemePark You should try and go on a Friday/Saturday, since it's the weekends that you get the long hours on. My best experience at the park was when we went on a Friday/Saturday trip. Friday's are typically lower in attendance. We went for the night passes at a reduced price and added fast passes, that were also reduced because it was only from the hours of 6pm-12pm, but we rode whatever we wanted in those 6 hours. The regular lines weren't bad, but the fast pass lines were non existent. We rode Steele Vengeance 4 time's in 20 minutes and that was the first year it operated. We rode so much on Friday night that we pretty much walked around and ate all day Saturday. We got spoiled on Friday and somehow those 3 hour lines just didn't seem worth it anymore💁🤣😂🤣
I've long had the idea for CP to totally renovate Corkscrew, keep the iconic corkscrew element which is a midway classic, but basically retrack the entire ride. Also make it a longer ride. Maybe rename it Super Corkscrew.
they arent gonna retrack it plus arrow is gone third something new would go there
@@NickyD who said anything about Arrow? Any coaster company could do it, especially RMC. And I meant retrack loosely. Really I should have said totally redesign, except still have a corkscrew element in the same exact place, which looks good on the midway. Anyway, I know it ain't gonna happen. Although I once thought the same thing about Mean Streak ever getting RMCd.
Wow. The park is practically empty. From watching Disney videos, I would have expected far more crowds. Pleasant surprise.

Im going on friday but im worried about not being able to ride the big 4. What are the hours that they hand the access passes? Are they selling fast lane?
No Fastlane for sale. Access passes are distributed at 11 AM and 3:30 PM

Are you able to choose your row for millennium? It seemed as though you implied that, I had assumed they would do assigned rows.
If there was space open for the front row line (which only holds 3 dispatch’s) then you can wait for the front

I believe they let you in, in the event there is no line
I got an extra ride on Steel Vengeance because there was no line.
SV front row was kinda underwhelming for me (however i haven't been on it since 2018)
Is the Waterpark or beachfront open?
Waterpark is closed, but the beachfront is open

Re-tracking corkscrew would be ideal, but in this economic climate, not likely.
Growing up in Michigan we would get to the Point a few times a year. It is honestly saddening to see it as it is today. It looks run down and overgrown. Obviously with the situation I get it but it is still painful to see.

I hate cedar point for reasons i will get into, applied there back in 96. in order to run most of their entertainment sound and the laser light/fireworks show. told them great, told them also walked with aid of crutches which they knew because they interviewed me in person in pittsburgh pa. then i get a phone call sorry we cant hire you because of the crutches. i have never been back, and see and hear they need me this year by your videos

We went about a week after the park opened. Gemini, Corkscrew, Top Thrill Dragster, Blue Streak and a bunch of the smaller flat rides we're all closed. We still had lots of fun tho.
They should retrack Corkscrew because if they removed it, there isn't much the park could do with that space.
