- Join the legend as he takes you along for his 2022 visit to the cedar point amusement park located in sandusky, ohio. This video takes a look at some of the changes at cedar point for 2022 including: top thrill dragster closed, the former site of wicked twister, the new farmhouse kitchen & grill restaurant. He goes on lots of rides at cedar point including the famous roller coasters (steel vegeance, millenium force, maverick, gatekeeper, valravn) as well as other great rides (train, snake river expedition, skyhawk). This video also takes a look at the merchandise available in the many gift shops at cedar point.

I Jodie use to work at CP...I worked in the Bearstain Bears Country...I was a Bear Scout and Brother Bear...watching this video makes me really miss CP....hope in the future get to visit Ohio and CP...My dream come true🙏

Cedar Point staff needs to realize that Top Thrill Dragster is extremely important to the park and it is loved by many people. There’s no reason why they can’t use this whole season and next offseason to modify the whole ride so no accidents happen ever again. There are people who like to insult it and joke about it because of all the “misery” it’s caused them and Cedar Point. They’re just mad because they never get to ride it because of it frequently getting delayed for maintenance. Well, every coaster needs to be maintained. I don’t care if it gets delayed frequently. It’s my favorite coaster at Cedar Point and of all time. I feel like the park is only using last year’s freak accident as an excuse to tear it down. That’s completely unacceptable. Accidents happen and that most certainly does not mean the whole ride should be taken down. Not every ride must so reliable to the point where it never goes down. Cedar Point makes millions and millions of dollars, maybe even billions. I’ll be depressed and heartbroken if they do such a thing.
I completely agree but the ride has had more than just 1 accident, several actually. it’s only a matter of time before someone dies on the ride or around it.
@@maliyahmarshall. Look at Son of Beast at KI. That had dozens of accidents. This is Dragster’s third accident.
Iron Gwazi over Steel Vengeance and Steel Vengeance over Velocicoaster, but good update. It didn't seem like it was too busy when you went. I want to make it up to CP this summer, but not sure yet. Have a VA and NC amusement park trip planned in 5 weeks.

Iron gwazi is like a shorter steel vengeance.
The pennants are made by a company in Buffalo called Oxford Pennant. They're really rad and also make custom pennants and camp flags.

@@grantofat6438 for folks who saw them and liked them they might want to see what else they make. I don't work for them, I just like the company and how they contribute to the community. Also, it's kind of cool that a major parks chain is using a small high quality American based company for their merch, and makes sense to comment in a video that spent a lot of time talking about the quality of the merch. I mean, it's not really up to you to police someone else's comment section, is it?

The brands in Speed Zone are not "random" at all, nor has it been the Dragster gift shop for years now. It always featured brand name merchandise, and it certainly is not "random" at all. It makes perfect sense for CP to sell brands like Under Armour, Vans, Champion, Billabong, Quiksilver, Roxy, and many other brands. No different than Universal and nearly every other amusement park that does the same.
The arcade also fails miserably when compared to other arcades, like Indiana Beach.

Last time I went there in 2016 it was on a Saturday. Seems like the park closed a 10pm and we had Fast Lane plus. Rode all the coasters and some multiple times. That was the last year of Mean Streak.
May as well call them Eater Point Americans Rockin Restaurant Coast lol
