Faces are and will always be one of the hardest things to replicate and make realistic... So what better way to add to emersion and not see some weird ass game character faces? Blur them. It also just matches the theme of body cam footage since its realistic that body cam footage would have faces and bodies blurred out if watching it back. It's a genius way to hide one of the hardest things to create behind something that makes sense with the theme of the game.
