There has been NO ONE on RUclips who has produced more Marvel Legends content than David displays model behaviour
Yet Hasbro continues to ignore him !

having started collecting since Toybiz ML, using my college funds 😅, I can attest to the thrill & drive of seeing your favorite comic & animated characters in 6 inch form..I remember almost unable to sleep while waiting for the arrival of Juggy or the Sentinel wave the next day in stores, that's something no one can ever take away from Toybiz.
College funds spent on figures? Yeah I can relate!

I enjoyed this trip down memory lane. Seeing all of those marvel legends from the toy biz era to the early hasbro days to current reminds you how you're going to be needing more space to collect them all. But not all of them are on my wishlist. I only collect the one's that really catches my eye and won't hurt my wallet. But because of the rise in prices, I had to really cut back on my collecting, so a lot of marvel legends and other figures are going to have to get passed on.
I know that feeling. Money don't grow on trees!

Excellent Marvel Legends retrospective, David. In the past 20 years from Toybiz to Hasbro now, they've come a long way and change for the better. Granted we all have dealt with QC issues on some of the figures and disappointment of how some of them looked great until you have in hand with the first glance being "What the hell did I buy?!!". But I digress. I feel the same as you about Marvel Select . I really want the Watcher rerelease. Imo his size is just perfect. I can only imagine how awesome Apocalypse will be. Once again my friend, great video. Btw....your videos are great just the way do them. No need to change a thing. Also if anyone gives any guff on what you collect. They can shove off. One of my other favorite collectors Plastic Addict always says, "Collect what you love, love what you collect", there's more to what he says but I apologize for how lengthy this is. In closing, I enjoy your channel just how you do it. Damn the negative nancies.
It’s been a heck of a ride of these 20 years hasn’t it? I’ve definitely moved away from ‘complete everything’ to ‘buy what I think is awesome!’

This is a great vid Dave. I am so very pumped for Animated X-Men. It is a dream line for me. Definitely picking up DST Apocalypse too. Also now I want that ML Iron Spider. Dammit we just got Amazing Yamaguchi. C'mon Hasbro, grab the brass ring!!

Man, not getting to this for 16 or 17 hours. I'm helping take care of my granddaughters and also spending time at the hospital with my daughter. So I have been totally exhausted this week, averaging only a couple hours of sleep. She had a very rough pregnancy, but my daughter and grandson are doing well, possibly coming home today, depending, since she had to C section. As someone who has been collecting since 1994, I am sure I will find this most interesting.

Well, that was October, everyone is doing well. I hope you liked the pictures. Little Walker Texas Ranger aka Walker David will be just a little over 2 months at Christmas. I will save a couple figures for him for next year as this year I will be contributing money and diapers. LOL.

Hey David, On Xmen AoA wave 2 there must have been some evil memo to send figures to sales floor before fulfilling preorders bc, I'm literally picking up some in store this week at the same store that also has my whole wave delayed.! I dunno, man. I cant cancel the delayed ones for some reason, too. So I'll have to return all once shipped. Lol
When I find the guy who sent that memo!
i had em all on amazon. saw them at walmart. didnt buy them and cancel my order. now i have all of them except sabertooth....which wont get here till december now haha

I collect my one favorite version of my favorite marvel characters.
That’s the best way to go about it!
Just think up a character that you think will probably get a figure or upgrade sooner or later and make that character your site mascot. When the figure inevitably comes out, hasbro will likely toss you the reveal :)

I'm torn on the X-Men Animated line for the same reasons. The cell shading makes them look out of place. I would have preferred just the animated costumes without the cell shading. I will say that the Mr. Sinister looks more like the comic version than the 2019 version, but my annoyance there is that they still gave him the stupid claw left hand and no alternate hands. Also, and I mean this in a completely heterosexual way, I like the sound of your voice too.

I dunno, Dave... X-Manny 87 is pretty critical of Hasbro on their Marvel Legends, and they sent him a reveal figure, I think, and they've had him involved in a few other things too... So, your chances may not be as bad as you think. They really SHOULD send you a reveal figure, but maybe there's a list they're going down and haven't gotten to your name yet? We'll see!
I MOSTLY watch for the Marvel Legends, as I don't collect much with other lines...

Im a big marvel fan but a lot of figures from hasbro marvel legends are not all that, they feel like cheap plastic and flimsy or woobly joints and no paint shadding at all and I know they can make better looking figures and better quality. They being having a lot of QC issues

Dude not a fan of cell shading on an existing line of figures…..they would need there own display and I do not got space for that man

The first thing you do as a serious collector is check the paint apps, not if the figure is fun to play with. Sighhhhh its miserable being fussy isnt it :)
But if the paint isn’t perfect the figure loses all fun!!!
Is there any other 6” action figure lineup that has more figures than Marvel Legends? I know there are probably some 3.75” that have more.

Couldn't agree more regarding fragility and different versions of the same character.
I bought the Mafex Spider-Man and it was beautiful but when I tried to swap hands and seen how easy it would be to break it I listed the figure for sale that same week. If I can't play with it if I can't drop it once or twice then it's not for me to have.
As for different versions it's like I'm hearing myself on video 😂
Yep I'll drop every penny to have all the Spider-Man figures I can (except the McFarlane one - too expensive and too many KOs out there) but why would I need 2 Gambits or 2 Rogues or 2 Mistiques or 2 Punishers..?
(And I say that well aware that I got too many Wolverines too many Batmans, too many Storms 😅)

@@DisplayingModelBehaviour when I first started collecting i was spending so much money on figures from Amazon or Walmart or other retailers because I wanted all the boxes and what not. Now I’m like hmmm 14$ USD on EBay for a loose figure that will fill out my team , sure why not ?!

i had stopped buying legends and even sold almost everything. i think the last thing i bought was the monsters pack (which i still have) then one christmas someone gave me the deadpool with no pants on and now i have way too many spidermen and wolverines

The toy biz ML are totally dismissed today by the way they were sculpted but some look so awesome love old school ML especially the old movie ML like Blade and The Punisher

With me doing a stop motion series at the age of 14 me and my friends and a few family members are going to be working on it it’s a ninja turtle X-Men fantastic four avengers crossover series there was a 2012 ninja turtle show on nickelodeon everyone loved it and wanted it to get season six but that never happened that’s where my stock motion series comes in and I made a fan made character an alternate version of the human torch who’s dating Jean GreySo the entire Marvel universe will get involved in some episodes with alien invasion’s and stuff and the shredder is going to be related to superman so he’s going to be a bigger threat than he normally was and he’s going to be ruthless more ruthless then in the 2003 turtle show which is saying something BTW this series is not for kids it’s for teens and above

Great video broo don't feel afraid to say what you feel , I'm the same way as you im to old for that as well im 36 years old and being collecting for more than 20 years 😀 😄 and I really don't like the other youtubers when they are reviewing hasbro marvel legends figures they all sound like ass kissers just because hasbro is sending them free figures to review. To be honest with you I have unsubscribed out of their channels because they are and sound so fake 🙄

I think you misunderstood my last comment in stream. I meant that ML have been doubling in price as soon as they release. I guess it's the same for all toys/collectables right now. For me it's reassuring that I can spend $20-$25 now and it'll be worth 100x that in 10 years. That's why ML is an investment & a love for me. Even with inflation you really can't beat the price point for what ya get from these guys.
Ah thanks Savage. I get you! It’s tricky to say if they’re an investment though. While done figures fo indeed go up in price many only hold their value until a better version comes out. One day Rogue was a super grail. Now she’s easy to come by!
Fair point David. The time frame for flipping them is a huge factor. You also have to be willing to part with them. Hardest part for me lol
