I cannot say how much I admire Nicholas for saying father forgive them. For they do not know what they do. He and his family did not want anyone to take revenge for them. 4:13-4:30 was so impactful. Seeing them alive in their beautiful formal photos and then their sculls and the injuries and their state. To see them alive and then be reminded of their fate. It’s both heartbreaking but beautiful, thank you.

Placing the footage of the family next to the reenactment of the murders is very effective. Like seeing them killed over and over. There are times when looking at their photos, one becomes even more aware of their fate. I wrote a poem about this

This musical background of Beethoven 5 fits perfectly into this tragedy, it helps to perceive the deep drama of the whole crime against the Tsar's family. I had chills on my body. Every time I see a video about the Romanovs, I think to myself how our life and the world would look like today if they were alive, that Revolution have changed the course of the whole world. Today after a century we see the effects. Sad but true.

The young boy Alexi was very handsome but very spoilt I’d say. They didn’t show it in this clip but he slapped the face of the boy next to him in the little boys lined up with their sailor suits on. The little boy couldn’t hit Alexi back because of who he was and Alexi knew that!! Maybe it’s a saving grace he didn’t become the next Tzar!!

First of all, I'm growing *_tired_* of the _anti-semitic_ views some people in this thread have, *_not all Jews_* are plotting to take over the world but for some reason, it's easier for everyone to blame a group of people for the bad things that have occurred in the world because the majority of people see history as a _black and white_ thing instead of analyzing the _numerous_ factors that have caused things to happen so that, we have a more objective and unbiased perspective of things. Secondly, I agree that the children of the Tsar should have been spared the fate of their parents but again, history isn't black and white and the truth is that the Romanovs were extremely dettached from their people's suffering and the constant famines that affected Imperial Russia, if you think that the Romanovs were as good and flawless as they were depicted in the 1997 animated movie _Anastasia,_ you need to wake up from Disneyland, violent revolutions always occur in societies that cannot satisfy people's most _basic_ needs such as: food, shelter, education and so on, if the Tsar hadn't been that cold and indifferent to his own people, Russians would have never believed the lies of _Social Justice_ Lenin and Trotsky made them believe in, not to mention that Lenin and Trotsky were very intelligent and well-read men who knew how to speak to the masses in order to have them do what they wanted and underestimating their intelligence is underestimating your enemy, Lenin had a society in crisis and a society he knew how to take advantage from to seize power violently and still be seen as the hero, even if he also murdered millions of his own people, created the first _kulaks_ and Stalin only made things worse after Lenin died. Neither the Tsar or the Bolsheviks were heroes and we must stop seeing and studying human history as a *_black and white_* issue because it has never been like that and it will never be like that.

Время, которое по воспоминаниям Анастасии сохранись в фотографиях Семьи Романовых, в документах, дневниках... Главное, бабушка Анастасия никогда не говорила фамилии своего отца, только слова "хозяин земли русской". Перед смертью, за год перед кончиной, собрала оставшихся в живых детей, рассказала, поведала правду, где родилась, кто были родители, все зафиксировали на видео, через год Анастасия ушла... Весь архив с документами и все содержимое, бусы жемчужные, ( которые дарили Анастасии по бусинки в день рождения), дневники воспоминаний, переписки и прочее. You speak as if the Soviets were all good when in reality, there were *_no heroes_* in either war, the Soviets did pretty horrible things too, the *_kulaks_* weren't exactly Heaven on Earth and people who died in those kulaks deserve to be remembered too as victims of a tyrant who cared more about seizing and keeping himself in power than about ruling for the very people he swore to protect.
